Another session down and while Pakistan have the upper hand, England are far from out of this match.

Of course, Matthew Henry assured us this game would finish today and he's back for the start of what will have to be an epic evening session for that to occur...

The England bowlers did their job in that session, but it's the dropped catches that have frustrated them. They will need to regroup.

  4. Tea - Pak 134-5published at 39 overs

    Lead by 209

Steady over from Shoaib Bashir, just a couple from it and that's tea.

Another good session for Pakistan, they've added 91 for the loss of just two wickets.

England will know it should have been three after those two drops in three balls to let off Salman Ali Agha.

They'll also know that quick wickets are needed when play resumes.

Loving this England Test, run-fests are ok but the game should be about a contest between bat and ball.

Ben Stokes gets quickly through his over - a maiden - so there will be time for one more before tea.

Can England snaffle one here to make them feel better after the immense frustration of those two drops?

Time for one more over before tea. Ben Stokes will bowl it with Salman Ali Agha on strike.

There's a second warning from umpire Kumar Dharmasena for Pakistan batter Salman Ali Agha for running down the wicket.

You don't see that often. There could be penalty runs here.

Now it's umpire Dharmasena who is unhappy.

Salman Ali Agha dropped the ball into the off side and set for for a run, right down the middle of the pitch.

The umpire isn't having it and dishes out an official warning. It might even be his second one, he held up two fingers to the square leg umpire.

Ben Stokes is ticking. He's asked Brydon Carse to go again, the burly seamer has been superb and he wants him bowling to Salman Ali Agha.

The right-hander plays away from his body and the ball runs towards backward point and Stokes is not happy that his fielders have allowed a single there.

Looking at Ben Stokes' face, I'm not going to tell you what he said. He's frustrated. Salman Ali Agha is dropped twice in three balls.

It's deflating from an England perspective. There's silence down there.

Right then, Ben Stokes was not happy after those two drops in the last over and he's decided he needs to do something about it.

The England skipper is into the attack for the first time in the innings.

That went knee high and straight to the keeper, but Jamie Smith has dropped it. That's a bad drop.

Fair play to Brydon Carse, he's just looked at the ground, turned back and walked.

Oh dear. Jamie Smith has dropped a dolly - and two balls later Joe Root shells one.

Superb again from Brydon Carse, a hint of movement to find Salman Ali Agha's edge as he pushed away from his body.

But it must be a lapse in concentration from Smith as he grasses the most regulation of catches behind.

Two balls later and another chance goes begging. Another edge from Salman, this time to Root very close in at first slip.

Tougher chance, especially with how close he is, but still one that should be taken as he moves to his right. Carse can't believe it.

No sign of the England skipper warming up just yet, Adam, but Brydon Carse is hobbling slightly so Ben Stokes may have a decision to make at the end of this over...

Just a single from Matthew Potts' latest over.

With 20 minutes until tea, England will feel if they can nip out another Pakistan batter before then, they are still right in this game.
