  1. 6 runs

    KKR 102-1published at 8.4 overs

Hundred up for KKR with a six!

Stand and deliver shot from Gurbaz, lofting Shahbaz Ahmed down the ground and keeping his eyes locked on the ball as it sailed over the boundary.

Gurbaz doing a sterling job leading his side to victory, just hitting it when he needs to.

  3. KKR 93-1published at 8 overs

    A... boundaryless KKR over?

    Almost.

Jaydev Unadkat does well to concede just five runs from his first five balls, but with his final delivery he drops one short that sits up tastily for Gurbaz - he smacks it away for four through mid-wicket.

  4. KKR 84-1published at 7 overs

    Target 114

A single and a leg bye bring KKR thirty runs from their target.

They've got 13 overs to do it. Fancy their chances?

  5. 6 runs

    KKR 82-1published at 6.3 overs

    Zero breaks.

Swept hard by Gurbaz and the ball flies to the ropes at fine leg.

After a bit of TV umpire deliberation it's adjudged to be a six.

  6. KKR 76-1published at 6.2 overs

First sight of spin from SRH as Shahbaz Ahmed is introduced into the attack.

His second ball beats everyone, keeper included and races away for four byes.

    SRH can't catch a break.

It's been a tough day for the Sunrisers.

They won the toss, but after that nothing has gone their way.

KKR are in total control of this game.

  10. KKR 72-1published at 6 overs

    Target 114

A bit of luck for Ventakesh on this occasion, a thick outside edge off Thangarasu Natarajan's fourth delivery runs away to the boundary for four.

A couple of singles close the over, 20 from it. KKR are 72-1 and that's the biggest score from a powerplay in an IPL final - Shreyas Iyer's side aren't here to eek to their total.

Incredible batting, the crowd are loving it.

  12. 6 runs

    KKR 66-1published at 5.3 overs

    Ventakesh Iyer is flying!

Consecutive fours - slashed through point and then smacked through mid-wicket - and then a magnificent lifted six over backward square, plenty of wrist to send it aerial.

    He's on 35 from 10.

  13. KKR 52-1published at 5 overs

Couple of singles and three consecutive dots follow that boundary.

Not a bad over in normal circumstances, but it's wickets or bust for SRH.

They just need wickets, I don't even think wickets can do much for them at this point but what else can they do.

  15. KKR 50-1published at 4.1 overs

Fifty up for the Knight Riders!

Cummins - changing ends - follows Gurbaz as he backs away. The ball strikes the opener on the gloves as he tries to strike square, rushing away through fine leg for four.

  16. KKR 46-1published at 4 overs

    Target 114

Pat Cummins takes himself off, bringing in Thangarasu Natarajan.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz eases him through the gap to the right of first slip for four. Perfectly timed.

The opener then punches into the covers and runs - the ball is cut off by a diving Nitish Kumar Reddy, who throws down the non-strikers end in a continuous movement, almost striking the stumps and drawing a dive from the KKR batter.

This is incredible counter-attacking, putting the pressure right back on and that's a beautiful shot.

This is brilliant bating from Venkatesh Iyer.

  18. KKR 37-1published at 3 overs

Bhuvneshwar Kumar tightens up a bit, restricting the KKR batters to a couple of singles.

But his final delivery is straying down leg and Ventakesh tucks it away for four behind square.

Twenty off the over and Ventakesh has 19 off five.

Venkatesh Iyer wants this over and done with!

He nonchalantly flicks Bhuvneshwar Kumar around the corner for four and then clouts the SRH seamer down the ground for consecutive sixes!

    Superb hitting.
