Straightforward catch, it's all going horribly wrong for the Sunrisers.

Andre Russell, it was a great decision to bring him into the attack because of those off cutters and slower deliveries.

    As I was saying...

Andre Russell comes into the attack and strikes second ball!

Aiden Markram looks to muscle a length ball over long-on but dopes not get enough elevation and Mitchell Starc can gleefully take the catch on the rope.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are in deep trouble. Kolkata Knight Riders jubilant.

    Thanks, Sam.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are definitely in rebuild mode, but they can only do that for so long.

This partnership between Heinrich Klaasen and Aiden Markram feels crucial.

  5. SRH 61-4published at 10 overs

    Markram 20, Klaasen 10

Excellent from Sunil Narine as he nearly sneaks one through Aiden Markram's defences.

These days he looks such an innocuous bowler and yet he's always on the money and still has enough tricks up his sleeve to consistently make life difficult for opposition batters.

Anyway, to take you through the rest of the innings, it's over to Tom Mallows.

  6. SRH 58-4published at 9 overs

A ripper to start the over from Harshit Rana. It nips away to find Heinrich Klaasen's edge but this time the ball goes wide of the wicketkeeper and races away for four.

Just three singles from the next five balls mean it's another good for KKR though.

If Markram gets out, it's pretty much game over for Sunrisers.

  8. SRH 51-4published at 8 overs

The 50 is up for Sunrisers but that is a very tidy over to start from Sunil Narine.

Just four singles from it and KKR are firmly in the box seat for now.

We're going to have a change of pace as Kolkata Knight Riders turn to spin for the first time with Sunil Narine entering the attack.

Heinrich Klaasen is the new batter for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The ball moved ever so slightly just away from the right-hander, he was expecting a quick delivery, Sunrisers are really struggling.

    Edged and gone!

It's another very good delivery. Quick, enticing the drive from Nitish Kumar Reddy and finding just enough movement away to locate the edge.

A regulation catch behind the stumps for Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Harshit Rana celebrates. He enjoyed that one.

Just as Sunrisers appeared to be recovering, they're pegged back again.

That was some shot, caressed through the off-side, even if there was a fielder he wouldn't have caught it.

  13. SRH 44-3published at 6.1 overs

Aiden Markram looks in good touch and he is not going to miss out on a short, wide one.

A loosener from Harshit Rana and Makram thrashes it away through point for four.

That was a very poor over from Vaibhav Arora. After two very good overs he's ruining all the work he's done.

  15. 6 runs

    SRH 40-3published at 6 overs

Pulled over fine leg for six! Nitish Kumar Reddy with half a dozen very useful runs for Sunrisers at the end of the powerplay.

A big final over, in which they take Vaibhav Arora for 17, might just help them to kickstart the innings.

  16. SRH 33-3published at 5.3 overs

Risky single from Aiden Markram after those two boundaries.

He dives to make his ground but he was long gone with a direct hit.

Pat Cummins smiles on the Sunrisers bench, he's not letting the pressure of this situation get to him just yet.

Two excellent shots, two terrible deliveries.

  18. SRH 32-3published at 5.2 overs

Aiden Markram begins the Sunrisers counter-punch in the last over of the powerplay.

It's back-to-back boundaries for the South African, the second of them powered over extra cover and bouncing just short of the sponge.

  19. SRH 23-3published at 5 overs

Superb again from Mitchell Starc, he's taken 2-14 through three powerplay overs.

Sunrisers have a major rebuilding job to do and Nitish Kumar Reddy, on his 21st birthday, is out there to join Aiden Markram.

Very good captaincy from Shreyas Iyer to give another over to Starc. A very good catch as well, kept his hands and eyes together but Tripathi was not looking comfortable there, very fidgety.
