    That's a massive blow.

Big wicket for the Sunrisers but they need a lot of them.

    Six and gone!

Tighter on the legs from Cummins but Narine tries to play a repeat of the shot from the last ball.

He can only clip the ball high in the air and it descends for a simple catch for Shahbaz Ahmed, running in from the boundary.

Gurbaz is a dangerous player, he could take the game away very quickly.

  7. KKR 5-0published at 1 over

Bhuvneshwar draws another expansive drive attempt from Gurbaz but can't find the edge.

The KKR opener is attempting to play expansively from the off - and why not? His side have got the cushion of a reachable target.

  8. KKR 4-0published at 0.2 overs

    Oooh, nice delivery first up.

An outswinger from Bhuvneshwar Kumar tempts Gurbaz forward - a play and a miss.

    Thanks Tom.

It looks like desperate times for SRH - but take a couple of early wickets and who knows...

Time for me to take a break. Here to guide you through the rest of the interval and the start of the Kolkata Knight Riders chase is Mike Peter.

  12. 'The big players have all stood up'published at 16:49 British Summer Time 26 May

Kolkata Knight Riders Andre Russell, who took 3-19: "I am very happy, especially to get three wickets in this game. We all know how important this game is and as big players we've all stood up tonight at the half-way stage. I'm happy with how I've been bowling and we've been disciplined and just bowled to our plans and tried to bowl less bad bowls."

On whether his improved performances are linked to better fitness: "My fitness is a big part of how I am playing. Mentally I am also in a better space. I was mentally down in the past few years. As players we all stand firm and back the talent that we've got. I'm at a better stage and my body feels very good. I want to stay like this for a couple more years."

On the chase: "We're not going to take this chase lightly. They'll try and defend this total. We need to make sure we get a good powerplay. If we can get 40 or 50 with no wickets lost or even one we're on the way. The bowlers have set it up, now we as batters just need to get it home."

Pat Cummins was SRH's top scorer with 24 and one of only four batters to reach double figures.

Every KKR bowler took a wicket, with Andre Russell the standout taking 3-19.

Let's hear what he had to say...

I don’t understand why Pat Cummins was trying to take the big shots when they had more balls to play, they’ll be very disappointed.

    And that is that!

Pat Cummins feels he has little choice but to go for the big shots but can only pick out Mitchell Starc on the long-on boundary and his Aussie team-mate holds on this time.

SRH are all out for 113 - the lowest total ever in an IPL final.

  17. Umpire reviewpublished at 17.5 overs

    What's going on here?

Sunil Narine thinks he has bowled Jaydev Unadkat but the bails - despite flashing - do not fall off.

A moment of confusion follows before KKR go for the lbw review.

You won't see a better effort than that from Andre Russell. That was an unbelievable effort to get it into his hands but couldn't release it in time to prevent the boundary.

  19. SRH 108-8published at 17 overs

Great fielding from Andre Russell - but it is all for nothing.

A huge slog from Pat Cummins flies over the covers and Russell manages to take a brilliant catch diving on his knees, but he is forced to let go of the ball as he clatters into the boundary sponge - with replays showing he had not let go in time.

A welcome six runs for SRH.

  20. SRH 98-8published at 16 overs

There is nearly a wicket next ball too as Jaydev Unadkat attempts a reverse-sweep and the ball lands just short of the fielder at short fine leg.

    It's all happening.
