One to mid-wicket to end the over and George Balderson keeps the strike.
Lancashire need 66 off 60 balls (10 overs) - Middlesex require four wickets.
Lancs 242-6 - target 309
Henry Brookes can't believe it.
George Balderson goes for a big drive but edges and wicketkeeper Jack Davies spills the chance despite getting both gloves to it moving to his left.
Lancs 241-6 - target 309
It's pretty much all on George Balderson now for Lancashire, you'd think.
He takes a single and Middlesex bring up the field for Tom Aspinwall, who nudges his first run to third man.
Close: Somerset 670-7d v Worcs 154 & 485-9
Worcestershire will take a lot of confidence from that as they see off 200 overs to hang on for a draw.
They shipped a 516-run deficit after Tom Banton's mammoth innings and then looked dead and buried at 116-4 on day three.
But skipper Brett D'Oliveira led from the front with a brilliant 121, soaking up 340 balls before Matthew Waite took over, using up 319 balls to finish unbeaten on 87.
Somerset take 16 points and Worcestershire pick up nine.
OK, Division One is done and dusted.
But we still have play in the second tier - and it's an enthralling finish at Lord's.
Lancashire are 240-6 and need 69 off 68 balls.

It's a draw.
What a rearguard action from Worcestershire to keep Somerset at bay.
The heroes of the hour are Matthew Waite with his 87 but hardly less meritoriously Tom Hinley with his five not out from 44 balls.
A great advertisement for County Championship cricket - who says draws can't be exciting?
Somerset 670-7d v Worcs 154 & 485-9
It's all down to Tom Hinley in just his second match to face the final over from Jack Leach.
He picks up his first boundary to the first ball - only his second scoring shot in 39 balls.
Hinley sees out four dots. One to go.
Another solid defensive push forward pats the ball into the turf and that's that.
Wells c Davies b Cullen 47 (Lancs 240-6 - target 309)
Would you believe it.
Another Blake Cullen bouncer is called a wide on height.
His next delivery is fairly undistinguished but Luke Wells glances and Jack Davies takes off to grab an excellent leg-side catch.
Tom Aspinwall is the new batter - he has a top score of 26 not out.
Lancs 239-5 - target 309
Luke Wells doesn't know much about that one but it comes off the inside edge and he takes a single.
Lancashire need 70 off 72 balls - Wells is 47 not out.
Somerset 670-7d v Worcs 154 & 481-9
This could be the final over and Archie Vaughan has the ball in his hand.
Flight and dip from Vaughan's second ball. Nice.
Waite gets him away and runs a couple as Craig Overton hares after the ball. Every second counts.
There WILL be another over.
Lancs 236-5 - target 309
Henry Brookes starts a new over and George Balderson chips over the leg-side for two.
A flashing cover drive follows but it's only a single for the Lancashire all-rounder as Ben Geddes makes a good save.
What will Luke Wells do? Deposit the next one into the seats at mid-wicket for six, that's what.
Somerset 670-7d v Worcs 154 & 479-9
Archie Vaughan is into his 49th over but Matthew Waite plays it out in comfort, stretching forward to get to the pitch of the final ball.
Tom Hinley continues to look assured as he dabs the first three balls of Jack Leach to the close-in fielders.
Jack Leach comes back over the wicket to change things up with his final two balls but that's super defensive technique propping forward.
Lancs 227-5 - target 309
Not quite sure why Blake Cullen is giving Lancashire free runs with bouncers that even someone of Curtly Ambrose's stature would struggle to lay a bat on - but there's another wide.
Lancashire need 82 off 78 balls to win.
Lancs 224-5 - target 309
Blake Cullen tries another bouncer and Luke Wells top edges a pull over the keeper for four.
That brings up a 50 partnership with George Balderson.
Somerset 670-7d v Worcs 154 & 479-9
Tom HInley got a duck in the first innings in just his second first-class match but is looking pretty good out there against the experience of Jack Leach.
Under this pressure that's some effort. Maiden.
Seven minutes.

I would think we've got four overs remaining.
One mustn't overstate the importance of this game but it's one which Somerset should win.
They have three tough away games to come.
It looks like they've decided Hinley will take Jack Leach.
Lancs 220-5 - target 309
Bowling change for Middlesex.
Zafar Gohar's marathon spell ends and Blake Cullen is recalled to the attack.
He starts with a steepling bouncer that is called a wide.
No slips - the home side are just looking to save runs.
Somerset 670-7d v Worcs 154 & 479-9
Matthew Waite picks up a couple more off Archie Vaughan to go to 85.
Big turn there from Vaughan and another vociferous appeal from the slips. Not out.
He pushes the final ball defensively into the offside.
Ten minutes to go.
Somerset 670-7d v Worcs 154 & 477-9
Another big appeal from Jack Leach and the slips but it's outside the line.
An even bigger appeal as he turns one past Tom Hinley's push and hits him low on the back pad.
That looked a good shout, but perhaps doing too much and missing the leg stump.
Guess what? Maiden.

Hinley survives another over.
