It's really noticeable how good Karun Nair is against that over pitched delivery. England will be thinking about bringing back a little bit, they don't want to make it too easy for him.

Karun Nair has settled quickly into his innings.

He runs a mid-over two before finishing it with a drive for four.

Chris Woakes is such a good bowler, he's got a good action and gets great shape. He's been varying the deliveries as well, making the batter think.

Karun Nair gets off the mark first ball as a Ben Duckett mis-field allows him to get through for a single.

It's hitting leg stump. Yashasvi Jaiswal has to depart for a brisk and entertaining 28 (22).

    India have burned a review.

The bowling change has worked for Ben Stokes and England.

It looked very out. I don't think there's any bat in this.

Now this will be controversial. We have been waiting for this series to kick off.

For me, the time on the big screen was definitely at zero when Jaiswal signalled.

Ben Stokes is remonstrating with the umpires. He thinks Yashasvi Jaiswal was out of time.

That looked very good. After bowling a few down the leg side, Josh Tongue got finally got it right.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been given out lbw.

After a lengthy chat, he goes upstairs. It looks out to me.

The England bowlers are definitely going to be feeling tired. They need to find a way in this last session to find a breakthrough or two but India clearly have some other ideas.

Chris Woakes is just trying to bowl that back-off length. On this pitch it isn't working and it definitely isn't working against KL Rahul, he's batting brilliantly.

Things are just getting easier for the Indian batters. Everything this over has either been short or pitched up.

  18. Ind 45-0published at 7 overs

Mohammed Siraj is looking remarkably chilled in the India dressing room and why not?

KL Rahul picks up three boundaries off Chris Woakes, whose radar has been a little off during his first four overs. He's yet to find his length.

India are 45-0 and their lead is up to 225 runs.

After today's play, I wouldn't make any predictions about the game.

  20. Ind 32-0published at 6 overs

    India lead by 212 runs

India's lead climbs above 200 as Yashasvi Jaiswal edges a quick delivery from Brydon Carse for four.

The second and fourth deliveries of the over also find the rope, both times through mid-wicket. It doesn't matter whether Carse bowls full or short, Jaiswal will score.

I would happily watch him bat all day.
