Second ball! What a day for Northern Superchargers. Superstar Australian Grace Harris, promoted to try and bash some quick runs, hacks across the line to left-arm swinger Grace Ballinger and is bowled.

London Spirit have sensibly decided to open with Grace Harris, who may feel like she has a point to prove after conceding 22 from her five balls a the end of the innings.

They will need a rapid start if rain comes in to play.

To see if they can pull off something incredible, I'll leave you in the very capable hands of Matthew Henry.

Spirit are going to need to come flying out of the blocks. Grace Harris has to face as many balls as possible if they are going to get close.

    101 from 43 balls.

    15 fours, five sixes.

An innings that'll live long in the memory from 18-year-old Davina Perrin.

After all of that carnage, London Spirit need 215 to win.

Northern Superchargers have been outstanding. No matter what happens, whether it rains or this game gets called off, they have shown what they are about as a team.

Southern Brave will be watching this game thinking: 'oh my word, we have a strong team to play tomorrow'. The game is more or less won already. If London Spirit win this game, I'll never commentate on cricket again. It's never going to happen.

Turns out getting your part-time spinner to bowl the last five balls on an absolute road, when you've already conceded nearly 200, isn't a good idea.

    Who'd have thought?

Nicola Carey whacks four more, finishes with 31 off 12, and Harris has conceded four fours and a six.

This is actually getting hilarious now. Nicola Carey steps outside leg stump, gives herself room and heaves it over mid-wicket for six.

Northern Superchargers are very much into the final.

    My word!

Reverse swept for four more, followed by a slog sweep for six!

Carey is on to 27 off 11!

200 up in style, four more to Carey!

What a cameo this is turning into.

Grace Harris will bowl the final five balls with her part-time off spin - and the first is reverse swept for four by Nicola Carey!

    An unbelievable pick up!

There isn't too much wrong with the ball to be completely honest, it might be a fraction too full from Issy Wong. But the way Bess Heath flicked that over deep backwards square leg for four just shows what a good wicket this is and how well Northern Superchargers are seeing it today.

    Hello!

Issy Wong gifts Bess Heath a half volley on leg stump and the batter sends it flying over the ropes. What a shot.

  14. Superchargers 182-5published at 90 balls

Nicola Carey drives Charlie Dean for four more before sweeping a single which makes this the highest team total in the women's Hundred, surpassing Welsh Fire's effort v Trent Rockets in 2023.

Spirit skipper Dean finishes with 1-37 from 20 balls.

This is a mini-collapse indeed. Hollie Armitage has barely batted throughout this competition but we knew she would get a bat at some stage - and she would rather get out first ball today than first ball tomorrow.

She was just looking to knock that into the off side but she just flicked it to cover who took a very simple catch.

    Gone first ball!

A soft dismissal for Hollie Armitage, plinking the ball straight to Charli Knott at cover.

Superchargers still have plenty of runs on the board but they've fallen away since Perrin got out.

A great catch from Kate Coppack at short third there, diving to her left-hand side.

When you hit the floor, more often than not you see the ball come out of your hands as your elbows hit the floor, but she manages to keep hold of it this time - just in her fingertips.

    Great catch!

Annabel Sutherland looks to have nailed a switch hit, Phoebe Litchfield style, but Kate Coppack dives full-stretch at short third and hangs on with the ball inches off the ground.

An amazing innings. Davina Perrin rightly acknowledges the applause because the whole crowd is standing for her.

It was just the cleanest of striking and the clarity of mind.

The crowd are on their feet again for Davina Perrin.

What a moment for her. That was the only way London Spirit were going to get her out.
