Welcome to the game, Sarah Glenn!

That ball just went through Grace Harris' legs for four. She got herself in a bit of a tangle there, it looked like she was in two minds of going for the catch or hanging back.

  3. Superchargers 41-0published at 25 balls

    From bad to worse.

Four more to Perrin, but it's gifted via a Grace Harris misfield at mid-off.

And, much to bowler Issy Wong's despair, she whips the next ball to the ropes too. Perrin has 37 off 20, and Spirit have completely dominated the powerplay.

  4. Superchargers 32-0published at 20 balls

    There we go.

Just four runs off Dean's first five balls.

This is Davina Perrin's highest score since her 72* (40) against Trent Rockets on August 10th - she had failed to go past 14 runs in her six innings since then.

If you want something done, do it yourself.

Charlie Dean turns to herself to drag back some control.

Davina Perrin has got Northern Superchargers off to an absolute flyer here, Alice Davidson-Richards has barely faced a ball!

She is showing her full potential here. She hasn't even tried to hit that ball, it is just pure timing, and she helps it around the corner and into the stands.

That was a big hit from Davina Perrin.

The pitch they're playing on is slap bang in the middle of the square and that has flown at least 10 rows back into the stands.

  9. 6 runs

    Superchargers 28-0published at 15 balls

This has been a great knock from Davina Perrin but the bowling has been terrible, frankly.

Eva Gray bangs the ball halfway down the pitch, the first is clubbed for four and the next sails over the ropes for six!

    Timing.

If I'm going to be completely honest, Charlie Dean has a lot to learn as a captain. She is a young captain so it's good that Heather Knight has still been on the bench to help her out.

There have been moments in games where she has got things tactically wrong, but there have also been moments where London Spirit have been on the front foot and she has taken the game on.

Looking forward, she's somebody that could quite easily captain England in a few years time so this is great practice.

  11. Superchargers 17-0published at 10 balls

London Spirit are on the back foot already, thanks to a few more glorious shots from Davina Perrin.

But it's loose bowling from Kate Coppack, both sides of the wicket, and Perrin's off to a flyer.

Davina Perrin is such a cool character. That shot was just pure timing - such a good shot!

It was in the slot from Kate Coppak, but Perrin just managed to force the ball through the off side and it races across the square for four. Beautiful.

  13. Superchargers 8-0published at 6 balls

Decent recovery from Wong, including an ambitious lbw appeal on Perrin from the final ball.

Kate Coppack will share the new ball duties, and her first ball is crashed through the covers for four! Aggressive start from Perrin.

Intent will be important for Northern Superchargers.

Alice Davidson-Richards has already played a couple of important knocks to drag her team over the line. The way that Phoebe Litchfield plays can put the fear in oppositions, she is able to switch around and access areas of the pitch that other batters don't necessarily do.

So Northern Superchargers will look to get ahead in the game with the bat and then defend with the ball.

  15. Superchargers 4-0published at 2 balls

    Lovely start for Davina Perrin!

Issy Wong drifts down the leg side and the youngster whips it away for four.

This is only the third time Northern Superchargers have batted first this season, winning one and losing one. Spirit won two of their three chases during the group stage.

The rain has passed - for now - so we'll get things going on time.

Superchargers openers Davina Perrin and Alice Davidson-Richards make their way to the middle, and Issy Wong has the ball in hand for London Spirit.

This should be a good game.

I feel like Northern Superchargers are the better of the two sides. They have a more well-balanced team and everybody seems to have fired at some point.

London Spirit have qualified for the finals but at points they have been heavily reliant on Grace Harris, she scored a mountain of runs at the start of this tournament and they have lost a few when she hasn't scored the runs.
