  1. SA 68-4published at 16 overs

    Target 252

    Super shot from Laura Wolvaardt.

Great use of the feet from the South Africa skipper and a lovely drive through point that just beats the dive of the India fielder in the deep.

That's just the second boundary that Sneh Rana has conceded after five overs.

  2. SA 62-4published at 15 overs

    Target 252

Sinalo Jafta comes in for South Africa and gets off the mark with a lovely late cut that races away for four.

The wicketkeeper-batter is nearly trapped in front next ball as she goes back to Deepti Sharma but is saved by an inside edge.

The momentum that was swinging in the Proteas' favour not long ago is now firmly with India.

You were really hoping that Anneke Bosch came off here. An easy catch for Deepti Sharma. South Africa now in big big trouble.

Thumped straight back at Deepti Sharma.

Anneke Bosch gets caught in two minds as to whether to really go after this full ball from Deepti or just push it for a single.

In the end, it's neither. Hit relatively firmly but in the air to give the bowler a straightforward return catch.

  5. SA 58-3published at 14 overs

    Target 252

Nearly two in two for Sneh Rana!

Flighted again and this time Anneke Bosch comes forward and pushes at it, getting an outside edge that flies away just wide of slip for a single.

South Africa are back to rebuilding mode but Laura Wolvaardt remains the key for them.

Drinks were taken after that wicket but play is ready to restart with Anneke Bosch the new batter for South Africa.

Big, big wicket. Rana bowled that on a beautiful length. Kapp is furious with herself and South Africa are in a spot of bother.

    Bowled 'er!

Superb bowling from Sneh Rana and South Africa's momentum is stopped rather abruptly.

This is all about the dip from Rana as she tosses the ball up and draws Marizanne Kapp into the drive.

But the ball dips sharply on a good length, means Kapp is nowhere near it as she shuffles down the pitch and then straightens just enough to hit off stump.

Brilliant spin bowling and South Africa are back in the mire.

Wolvaardt and Kapp have had a good start and a good partnership so far.

  10. SA 57-2published at 13 overs

    Run out chance!

A minor collision between Marizanne Kapp and Deepti Sharma sees the South African lose her bat as she answers Laura Wolvaardt's call for a quick single.

It might have been costly had there been a direct hit because Kapp looked to be just short of her ground.

  11. SA 54-2published at 12.1 overs

    Target 252

Deepti Sharma is into the attack but her first ball is too straight and turning down leg, allowing Marizanne Kapp to help it fine for another boundary.

Momentum us definitely shifting South Africa's way but they still have a long way to go.

  12. SA 50-2published at 12 overs

    Target 252

South Africa's momentum continues as Laura Wolvaardt tickles the ball fine and the outfield is quick enough that it runs away to the boundary.

Play and a miss next ball as Sneh Rana adjusts her line and entices Wolvaardt into a drive.

    Such clean hitting!

Marizanne Kapp welcomes Shree Charani to the attack by powering the ball high and handsome back over the spinner's head for a huge six.

Two balls later, Kapp goes again. Launched over mid-off this time - one bounce for four.

I couldn't possibly say, John. Such side hustles are not looked upon favourably here...

Anyway, WinViz reckons India have got this one in the bag.

  16. SA 34-2published at 10 overs

    Target 252

The powerplay is over after a tight over from Sneh Rana, which costs just a single.

India well on top with two of South Africa's top four already back in the hutch.

India have bowled extremely well. You can't take credit away from them.

In the field, they have been exceptional.

  18. SA 33-2published at 9 overs

    Target 252

Laura Wolvaardt continues a good over for South Africa by punching crisply through extra cover.

She is denied another boundary by Deepti Sharma's good work in the deep.

It's 10 from the over in total, the Proteas needed an over like that.

  19. SA 31-2published at 8.3 overs

    Target 252

Too short from Kranti Gaud and Laura Wolvaardt turns on it and hammers the pull shot in front of square for four.

And again! Not quite as short this time and Wolvaardt gets this one through square leg.

  20. SA 23-2published at 8 overs

    Target 252

First look at spin in the innings as Sneh Rana is into the attack.

She beats Laura Wolvaardt a couple of times in the over as the South Africa skipper tries to cut but is done by balls that skid through.

India's bowlers are well on top at the moment.
