Well, the wicket is going to slow the West Indies down.

Dottin just evades the mid-off fielder as she cleaves Bell to the ropes, before new batter Chinelle Henry smokes a six down the ground, just clearing the boundary.

A really great catch from Priyanaz Chatterji, my South East Stars team-mate!

It looked like it was going to comfortably go to her. It was a huge top edge from Qiana Joseph, that big swing of the bat, but she just didn't get this one this time.

It was nearly a full-stretch dive, but the most impressive thing is that she managed to keep hold of that ball when she hit the ground.

    Joseph c Chatterji b Bell 31 (WI 59-4)

    Bell has her second wicket!

Qiana Joseph's innings comes to an end as she spoons the ball in the air and Priyanaz Chatterji takes a smart catch running in from short fine leg.

The West Indies number three departs with 31 from 18, a fine effort.

Qiana Joseph is batting so well here.

It is really good from her because she had a bit of a shocker of an innings in her first game. To be able to bounce back and stay calm, this is what we want to see.

We have seen pinch hitters come in at around that three or four mark, but none have really come off apart from tonight with Qiana Joseph.

  5. WI 59-3published at 8 overs

The West Indies continue to show plenty of intent, with Qiana Joseph slapping the leggie Abtaha Maqsood for four through square leg.

It's in sharp contrast to India on this ground earlier today - they crept towards a low target.

One thing that Scotland will reflect on is that they could have changed their line to Qiana Josephslightly earlier, because she just got hold of them.

Time for Deandra Dottin - she brings up the West Indies' half century with an edged two into the covers.

Her side are half way to their target.

    What a catch this is!

Shemaine Campbelle will feel that she is unlucky because she has struck that powerfully. It has gone straight back to Olivia Bell, so people will say that should have been taken, but they are always much harder than you think.

They have now got rid of three of the most experienced batters in that top five now!

    Taken on the third attempt!

A stunning take from Olivia Bell to dismiss Shemaine Campbelle from her own bowling.

She dives to her left, sees the ball bounce off her fingertips and shoulder before finally nestling in her hands.

I think West Indies now will feel that they are in control of this run chase.

They have made a really good start in terms of runs on the board. I know they have lost two wickets, including Hayley Matthews and Stafanie Taylor which are big scalps for any side to pick up, but Shemaine Campbelle has got a lot of experience and they still have Deandra Dottin to come.

They just need to keep their cool the West Indies, don't panic.

  11. WI 46-2published at 6 overs

New batter Shemaine Campbelle takes an extra run from a Chatterji wide, bringing Joseph back on strike.

The number three then lashes Scotland's medium-pacer through the covers for her second four.

Two further wides follow, the second running away to the ropes behind the keeper.

A 16-run over to end the powerplay, but with the consolation of a wicket.

In the end, that was a good catch from Kathryn Bryce. It was struck quite flat towards her, so she had to run in and intercept the ball at pace at mid-on.

She has gone with the traditional fingers down because it was just dipping as it fell to here. Once she got it, she was so chuffed.

Everyone has swarmed towards her to celebrate - they know it's a big moment! Scotland will feel they have a bit of a sniff here...

    The captain departs!

Priyanaz Chatterji has a wicket with her second delivery, as Hayley Matthews lifts the ball to Kathryn Bryce at mid-on.

It's good work from the Scotland captain to remove her opposite number, taking the catch on the forward-dive.

Matthews departs with eight from 19, she never got going today.

Hayley Matthews just looks a class above everyone else when she is out there in the middle.

Her shots are just brilliant technically.

  15. WI 30-1published at 5 overs

On comes the 20-year-old off-break bowler Olivia Bell.

She sends down five dot balls to Hayley Matthews, but is denied a maiden when the West Indies opener cuts her final ball for two.

It is definitely all to do with the length. If you bowl full to her, then she is going to step and swing and whack you down the ground.

If you are Kathryn Bryce, she will be thinking that she needs to drag her length back here but she is doing a brilliant job.

    Qiana Joseph is motoring.

She finds three edging through the empty cordon, then smacks the final ball of Kathryn Bryce's over for four over mid-on.

She moves to 18 from nine.

I reckon that should tell Scotland that they cannot bowl straight to Qiana Joseph.

If you want to bowl it straight, then you have to bowl it straight into the pitch to maybe take a bit of pace off it.

    Big hit!

Qiana Joseph launches Rachel Slater down the ground but the ball slows once it has bounced - the West Indies batters only manage to run a single having expected the ball to go four.

There is one way to solve the issue of a slow outfield - slug it over the ropes. Having come back on strike, Joseph does exactly that, lofting the pneultimate delivery of the over over long-on.

The follows up with two more through the covers.

  20. WI 9-1published at 2 overs

Just one further single from a decent first over from Kathryn Bryce.

Joseph has a couple of big swings towards the end of the over but doesn't connect.
