Lorna Jack-Brown went down quite early there. I just wonder if going to ground too early, you just lose that stable base that you have.

Joseph dropped on onepublished at 1.1 overs

    Should have been taken.

Joseph chips Kathryn Bryce towards mid-on, where Lorna Jack-Brown moves to her right and attempts to take the catch on the dive, seeing the ball brush her fingers on its way to the ground.

Joseph runs a single to move onto two.

  3. WI 6-1published at 1 over

    Target 100

Qiana Joseph knocks a single into the covers to get off the mark.

Six from the over for the West Indies, they started the innings with a required rate of exactly five.

    That was a brilliant delivery.

Before this innings, we felt like Rachel Slater was most likely to get that movement to take a wicket. Obviously the different angle as a left-armer is great.

We are seeing a lot of her in England and she is a great talent.

    Taylor b Slater 4 (WI 5-1)

Rachel Slater makes an early breakthrough!

The left-arm seamer bags Stafanie Taylor with her fourth ball, a touch of in-swing and ball goes between bat and pad and hits the outside of the off stump.

Taylor had struck four from the previous ball, edging down to third boundary where the ball just about dribbled onto the ropes ahead of the diving Lorna Jack-Brown.

In comes Qiana Joseph, effectively an opener once more.

    Thanks Tim.

The players have made their way onto the field.

A change at the top of the order for the West Indies with Stafanie Taylor, who top-scorer with an unbeaten 44 at three against South Africa on Friday, moving up to replace Qiana Joseph.

Tash is right, that is a sub-optimal total to say the least.

Or can Scotland spring a major surprise? Mike Peter will take you through the West Indies innings.

It is a shame Scotland haven't been able to get over that 100-mark, but I guess it leaves it pretty plain and simple. They are going to have to bowl the West Indies out.

I feel like that run total is well under par. We think that 120 is probably par on this pitch, but we have been seeing a lot of low-scoring games so far in this tournament so who knows what could happen?

Scotland will have to take early wickets and get Hayley Matthews - she holds the key to this run chase.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 20 overs

    Slater b Ramharack 0 (Sco 99-8)

Rachel Slater heaves and misses the last ball of the innings, summing up a poor Scotland effort.

West Indies will need exactly 100 to win.

Oh, Darcey Carter! She was just ball watching. It wasn't really a run, was it?

There just needs to be a little bit better communication between the wickets.

Fraser run out 6 (Sco 98-7)

Carter swings and misses, but Fraser still runs halfway down the track. The keeper's throw back to the bowler is not great, but good enough to see Fraser run out as she fails to ground her bat in time.

That is a brilliant shot from Carter - this time she does find the gap.

It races away and really flies off Darcey Carter's bat - we haven't said that much today!

She has got one more over to go, if she can find the boundary a couple more times that would help.

  13. Sco 93-7published at 19 overs

Darcey Carter finally reaches the boundary, driving Alleyne stylishly over the off side. Aside from that, Scotland can only squeeze out a few singles as we enter the last over.

Hayley Matthews finishes her spell with just four from her final over, the Scottish tail isn't wagging.

Deandra Dottin just saunters up to the ball, luring you into a false sense of security, and then when you go for the second run, she puts the burners on. She has one of the quickest arms in the game and she can easily run you out.

The West Indies are good athletes but they don't show that prowess all the time.

  18. Sco 82-6published at 17 overs

Seamer Aaliyah Alleyne joins the attack and she keeps it tight, conceding just four. Getting to 100 feels like a big ask.

That wasn't a run there but there was just wasn't any communication between the two batters.

They probably haven't batted too much together these two, probably in the qualifiers they did. Lorna Jack looked pretty decent and you can just tell Darcey Carter feels gutted to run her team-mate out.

I don't actually think it was her fault - it was the lack of communication between the two of them.

  20. Fletcher takes back-to-back wicketspublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 6 October

Afy Fletcher finished with 3-22 including these two in her final over.
