Chedean Nation - a concussion sub for Chinelle Henry - goes for a five-ball duck, bowled by a beauty from Fran Jonas.

New Zealand are nearly home and dry.

  2. WI 96-6published at 17 overs

The New Zealand players were starting to look a little nervous, but that wicket has transformed the mood.

Melie Kerr ends with figures of 2-14.

Melie Kerr has gone mad; Deandra Dottin is absolutely devastated.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.3 overs

    Dottin c Jonas b Kerr 33 (WI 96-6)

    Massive.

Deandra Dottin had no choice but to keep going for the big hits but eventually her luck runs out. She goes for a huge swing and top-edges the ball into the sky and Fran Jonas has safe hands at fine leg.

At the third time of asking New Zealand hold on and Dottin has to go.

Deandra Dottin is living on the edge, she has to. Now, you're looking at this as West Indies' game. There are roars of delight from the West Indies dugout.

  8. 6 runs

    WI 95-5published at 16 overs

Three in the over! Incredible hitting from Deandra Dottin, who has powered three huge sixes through mid-wicket.

23 off the over and suddenly West Indies are right back in it.

  9. 6 runs

    WI 89-5published at 15.5 overs

And again! Deandra Dottin has heaved this over mid-wicket and into the stands for another six!

It will need the innings of a lifetime from Deandra Dottin for West Indies to win. You have to work hard for your boundaries here, so your money is with New Zealand all the way. But, anything could happen.

  11. 6 runs

    WI 78-5published at 15.1 overs

Deandra Dottin has well and truly joined the party. She has absolutely nailed a cross-batted, baseball-style pull that fizzes into the crowd for six.

    Wonderful shot.

  12. WI 72-5published at 15 overs

Afy Fletcher is the new batter and I imagine she will try and let Deandra Dottin have as much of the strike as possible.

Having just said that, she smashes the final ball of Rosemary Mair's back over her head for four - the first boundary in 31 deliveries.

    Shows what I know.

  13. dropped catch

Deandra Dottin dropped on 11published at 13.6 overs

Back to the ridiculous. Eden Carson has fumbled another routine catch on the square leg boundary.

New Zealand have now dropped Deandra Dottin THREE TIMES.

That is a superb catch! We have seen some horrible drops in the deep, but today we have seen some absolute beauties and that is one of them. Aaliyah Alleyne wasn't doing anything spectacular for West Indies, but wickets are wickets.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.4 overs

    Alleyne c Green b Kerr 4 (WI 63-5)

Great take! From the ridiculous to the subline. After Rosemary Mair's drop the previous over Maddy Green has just taken a worldie on the long-off boundary.

Aaliyah Alleyne just never got going. The pressure on Deandra Dottin grows.

  16. WI 61-4published at 13 overs

That probably would have been curtains if Deandra Dottin had gone there.

As it is, West Indies still have a chance.

Rosemary Mair - have you just dropped the World Cup?

  18. dropped catch

Deandra Dottin dropped on 7published at 12.3 overs

Another poor drop, a common theme this tournament.

Deandra Dottin perfectly picks out Rosemary Mair on the deep square leg boundary, but Mair fumbles the catch and it falls to the ground.

    How pivotal could that be?

Some very pensive faces in the West Indies dugout. Deandra Dottin needs to face about 30 of these last 48 balls and she needs to make sure that she doesn't take as many risks because there aren't any batters to come.

  20. WI 54-4published at 12 overs

    Target 129

Just two runs from Rosemary Mair's latest over, pushing the rate well over nine. West Indies are sinking here.
