  3. India reviewpublished at 12:34 British Summer Time 6 October

Nida Dar misses a heave and is hit on the pads. The umpire says 'no' but India are convinced its out. We go upstairs.

  4. Pak 97-7published at 19 overs

Shreyanka Patil returns for the penultimate over, and concedes just just six to finish with an impressive 2-12 off four overs.

Pakistan should get past the 100 mark but they need a really productive last over.

That is a brilliant dive from Nida Dar. I did think she might have been in without it but she did it just to make sure. If in doubt, get the dive in!

I think that was really good cricket as well. Dar could have taken that leg-side on but I think she swallowed her pride a little bit and thought the best option would be to just dink it in leg side.

Richa Ghosh pulled off a superb catch to dismiss Fatima Sana.

  7. Pak 86-7published at 18.3 overs

Nida Dar dives in after running two and is safely home, sliding her bat in well ahead of her as Ghosh demolishes the stumps.

  8. Pak 84-7published at 17.2 overs

That's a great shot from Syeda Aroob Shah, she steps down the track and drives Deepti Sharma back over her head for four - the first in a long time.

  9. Pak 79-7published at 17 overs

Asha Sobhana has some ground to make up following her two terrible dropped catches, but as a bowler she's done OK, conceding just three off the last her four overs.

It feels to me a little bit that Pakistan's batting is reactive to the ball that is being bowled to them, rather than thinking about what style of bowler they are facing and where they can get those runs from in the field.

They are just setting up, seeing what comes from the bowler and then reacting.

  11. Pak 76-7published at 16 overs

Nida Dar is pretty much it now as far as Pakistan's hopes for getting to 100 are concerned. She's been joined by Syeda Aroob Shah, but they can only work Renuka Singh Thakur around for four of her final over.

Pakistan have just got themselves into a hole here. I think it is more from a tactical point of view. They aren't getting some of the basic things right, such as their batting order.

India will be really pleased with how they are tracking so far, particularly after that disappointing loss against New Zealand.

  13. Aliya out after swift reviewpublished at 12:16 British Summer Time 6 October

Aliya Riaz was trapped on the back pad and had to go after she reviewed.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14,5 overs

    Tuba Hasan c Verma b Shreyanka 0 (Pak 71-7)

The new batter sweeps but only succeeds in top edging the ball to Verma at short fine leg.

The wheels have well and truly fallen off the Pakistan innings.

    That is an unbelievable catch!

It was tossed up by Asha Sobhana and Fatima Sana gets a thick edge on it. She just dives to her right like a salmon and she just clings on to the ball in her right hand.

It was going to take something special to get Fatima Sana out. It is a shame because she was the one that looked comfortable out there.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14 overs

    Fatima Sana c Ghosh b Sobana 13 (Pak 70-6)

The skipper swipes and the ball flies off to her right, and Richa Ghosh makes a superb grab while diving away to the side.

  17. Pak 70-5published at 13.5 overs

Fatima Sana must have been frustrated by what she's seen and she breaks the shackles with two slog-sweeps for four off Asha Sobana.

Oh no - another dropped catch from Asha Sobhana!

This one was slightly harder than the previously one, it went slightly to her right and it was high but once again she just didn't seem to get her hands in the right position. She snatched at it in that crocodile fashion.

    That is not great.

  19. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 12.3 overs

    Pak 53-5

Another howler from Asha Sobhana! Dar slices a cut to the hapless fielder at short third, but she gets her hands all wrong and spills it.

Arundhati Reddy is, not to put too fine a point on it, fuming.

It looked pretty plum from up here, but we aren't directly behind the batter up here in the commentary box. I think that was a review out of hope, rather than actually knowing.

It has hit her on the back pad and just missed the bat. If it hits the stumps, it is out right?
