    Glamorgan 327 & 168-4 v Kent 155 & 360 - Glamorgan target 189

The jeopardy we were feeling earlier has disappeared into the distance now as Glamorgan cruise towards victory.

They've lost a couple of wickets but have since made serene progress to move within 21 runs of their target.

Kiran Carlson is on 74 and Colin Ingram 27 and will look to close out the win early in the afternoon session.

    Yorks 516-7d v Surrey 473-8

Surrey comfortably saw their way past the follow-on mark and trail by 44 at the break.

  3. Postpublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 25 July

    Hants 440-9 v Notts 578-8d

A delayed lunch at Utilita Bowl as there are nine wickets down.

Not sure that's gone down well with anyone really - and I am quite hungry...

WICKET AND LUNCHpublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 25 July

    Hammond lbw b Green 22 (Glos 381 & 168-4 v Lancs 557)

Miles Hammond and Joe Phillips looked to have steadied the Glosters into the lunch break after three quick wickets.

But Hammond falls in the final over before the break!

Chris Green, round the wicket off spin, gets one to slide into the left-hander and he's caught on the crease and plumb lbw.

What a session for Lancashire, picking up four wickets and they still lead by eight at lunch.

Looking like nothing to stop them at the moment.

A very poor session for Gloucestershire, who began the day with all 10 second-innings wickets in hand but have simply not been good enough so far.

  5. Lunch at Derbypublished at 13:01 British Summer Time 25 July

    Derbys 168-7 v Leics (target 446)

Leicestershire celebrate taking a wicket against DerbyshireImage source, rex

    Dave Fletcher
    BBC Radio Derby Sport

It looked like the back leg and Luis Reece is not happy with it!

Only two more wickets to go if they get one more wicket here lunch will be delayed by 15 minutes - the chicken will be even drier!

They certainly won't survive the rest of the day.

  7. new ball

New ballpublished at 12:59 British Summer Time 25 July

Notts take the new ball and hand it to....Freddie McCann - well he does have the best figures so far (2-28)

  8. 'Warwickshire still in range'published at 12:58 British Summer Time 25 July

    Warks 184 & 147-3 v Worcs 333 & 243

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

If Warwickshire can get in at lunch having only lost one wicket, I think they will feel like they are still in range.

The ground staff are all ready on the edge of the pitch to come out and re-mark the creases at lunch.

  9. Five-wicket haulpublished at 12:57 British Summer Time 25 July

    Overton b Bess 18 (Yorks 516-7d v Surrey 464-8)

Jamie Overton has a big swipe at Dom Bess and is bowled to give Bess five-wickets on the stroke of lunch.

Blake st sub b Lyth 72 (Yorks 516-7d v Surrey)

Josh Blake's maiden half-century ends at 72 as he steps out to Adam Lyth's off spin, misjudges the flight as Lyth fires it wider and is stumped by Harry Duke.

    Third wicket of the morning.

    Warks 141-3 - target 393 v Worcs

A cut to deep cover brings Zen Malik a half-century in 87 balls.

His second 50-plus score this season.

His first turned into a maiden first-class hundred for the 27-year-old from Stoke.

  12. Zaib continues to impresspublished at 12:45 British Summer Time 25 July

    Middlesex 625-8 dec v Northants 261 & 124-5

Yesterday, Saif Zaib became the first Division Two player to reach 1,000 County Championship runs this season - only Surrey's Dom Sibley has achieved that feat in Division One - and he is top-scoring for his team again now.

Consecutive fours have taken him to 37 not out alongside Rob Keogh (8*).

He's the key man for his side to keep the innings going, and for Middlesex to remove.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:44 British Summer Time 25 July

    Reece lbw Kimber 10 (Derbys 151-7 v Leics - target 446)

He misses a straight one from Louis Kimber and has to drag himself off the field.

  14. 150 runs

150 up for Derbyshirepublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 25 July

    Derbys 151-6 v Leics (target 446)

It all seems a little academic but Derbyshire reach 150.

Luis Reece took 11 wickets with the ball and he is averaging more than 50 with the bat this season - still hope?

After a defeat by an innings and 39 runs by Essex this morning, there's been some more bad news for Sussex supporters today.

Fast bowler Ollie Robinson missed the game through injury and head coach Paul Farbrace has revealed he won't feature for a while.

"Ollie Robinson had an injection in his groin on Wednesday and won't be available until the back end of the One-Day Cup," said Farbrace.

Sussex start another County Championship game at Yorkshire next Tuesday.

  16. 50 runs

50 for Kiran Carlsonpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 25 July

    Glamorgan 327 & 135-4 v Kent 155 & 360 - Glamorgan target 189

Glamorgan skipper Kiran Carlson has done a great job of controlling his side's second innings.

He arrived at the crease in tricky circumstances last night as Kent were looking for wickets but has seen it through nicely to record a half-century in this morning's session.

His batting partner is now Colin Ingram after Billy Root was stumped for 30.

    Glamorgan require 54 for victory.

  18. 'He didn't have to play that shot'published at 12:35 British Summer Time 25 July

    Warks 184 & 126-3 v Worcs 333 & 243

    Dave Bradley
BBC Hereford & Worcester cricket commentator

He will be bitterly disappointed with that as he didn't have to play that shot really.

You are looking for runs, but is that the shot you need to play? I don't know, they had been going along very comfortably.

As we said it is going to be a batsman's mistake that gives the wicket and Dan Mousley has made that mistake.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:32 British Summer Time 25 July

    Abbott b Ahmed 17 (Hants 430-9 v Notts 578-8d)

Follow on avoided and Kyle Abbott's cameo is over.

He smacked one four and two sixes to steer his side past the danger of being forced to bat again but Abbott is bowled through the gate by Farhan Ahmed.

The home side trail by 148 runs.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:32 British Summer Time 25 July

    Mousley c Libby b Foreman 69 (Warks 126-3 - target 393 v Worcs)

    Goodness did Worcestershire need this.

The morning was beginning to run away from them but Dan Mousley has reverse-swept Bertie Foreman to backward point.

267 more needed for the Bears.
