1. Invincibles 74-2published at 55 balls

Just the one boundary comes off that Akeal Hosein set, having seen a few go into and over the rope off his previous five balls.

Tymal Mills, who took that wicket of Will Jacks, is back in to bowl.

  2. Invincibles 72-2published at 53 balls

    Shot!

Sam Curran pounces on a shorter ball from Akeal Hosein and drives through the covers, sending it through the gap in the field for four.

    Excellent cricket shot.

34-5 is the position Oval Invincibles were in last year, before Tom Curran came in, so they're already in a much better spot right now.

  4. Invincibles 66-2published at 50 balls

More tidy work from Chris Jordan, giving up the one boundary and just seven runs in total as the innings reaches the halfway stage.

It is a strong start from Oval Invincibles, but largely down to Will Jacks. They could do with one, if not both, of Sam Curran and Jordan Cox putting on a big score here.

  5. Invincibles 64-2published at 47 balls

Easy on the eye from Jordan Cox.

Not all of the bat on it, but he keeps the drive firm and low to take it back past bowler Chris Jordan and to the rope for four.

They've dragged it back nicely, the Brave. Invincibles got off to an absolute cracker-jack of a start, but nothing really apart from Will Jacks. Brave have just started to squeeze.

Will Jacks and Dawid Malan put on a strong opening stand, with Jacks scoring the bulk of the runs.

It took this brilliant catch from Laurie Evans to remove Malan.

  8. Invincibles 59-2published at 45 balls

Craig Overton is bowled out after only 45 balls of the innings.

No wickets for him, but he concedes just 17 runs off his 20 balls, keeping things very tidy.

Six runs before being dismissed on 37, Will Jacks survived on 31 after this drop from Kieron Pollard.

Well Curran's done really well there, he's kept it down. It would have been easy to just try and get underneath it, we've seen many batters fall by hitting balls aerially. Sam Curran just rides it, it was a beautiful cricket shot.

  11. Invincibles 54-2published at 40 balls

Fans of England's Test team will be keeping an eye on Oval Invincibles' next man in, Jordan Cox, who has been included in the England squad to face Sri Lanka in a few days.

He scores three off his first two balls before Sam Curran ends the set by pulling Tymal Mills for four with an excellently-timed stroke.

Huge wicket. Laurie Evans was saying how dangerous Will Jacks is. He hasn't expected it. It's almost like a baseball pitch, it's through him, cannons into the middle stump and gets rid of the dangerman Jacks.

    Jacks b Mills 37 (Invincibles 47-2)

    Huge wicket for Tymal Mills!

Will Jacks was 37 off 21 before that ball. It was a fairly high full toss from Mills that completely catches Jacks off guard and clatters into middle stump.

Two wickets in quick succession for Southern Brave.

It does look like a decent pitch. If we can just try and restrict them to something like 150-160. It all depends on Will Jacks, he's got a great start and he can be so dangerous.

  15. Invincibles 46-1published at 35 balls

Brilliant bowling from Jofra Archer facing England team-mates Will Jacks and Sam Curran, who has been bumped up the order to bat at three.

Having given up 10 runs from his first set, just two come from that one.

It's our man Laurie Evans. He got three yesterday in the Eliminator and he's caught another stunner. Malan, not quite getting that out the middle of the bat. Laurie doesn't drop them!

    Malan c Evans b Archer 7 (Invincibles 44-1)

A brilliant catch from Laurie Evans!

Dawid Malan looked to send Jofra Archer's first ball of the set towards the boundary through the leg side.

Malan did not get enough on it. Evans is there to take the catch and diving to his right, he does exactly that!

  18. Invincibles 44-0published at 30 balls

A tidy start from Chris Jordan, Southern Brave's first bowler out of the powerplay.

Five singles come from his first set before he hands back duties to Jofra Archer.

Will Jacks - dropped on 31. How costly is that going to be?

Will Jacks has already hit three sixes, including this off Jofra Archer's first ball of the day.
