  1. Close of play at Blackpoolpublished at 18:37 19 May

    Lancashire v Durham 134-3 (target 475)

Saqib Mahmood gets a play and miss out of Ollie Robinson, getting the ball to ping just past the off stump.

Same result off a wider ball.

This is uncomfortable viewing for Durham fans.

This over has everything. Pace, swing, bounce and accuracy.

Robinson pushes the last ball safely out to backward point to see out Day Three.

A battle for survival awaits tomorrow you would expect unless Durham get off to a flying start on Monday morning to chase down 341 runs.

Two wickets for Tom Aspinwall for just 27 runs to swing more momentum in Lancashire's favour after the declaration, while Nathan Lyon accounted for Durham captain Scott Borthwick, bowling him for 39.

Marnus Labuschagne has eventually gone for 111, falling to Luke Hollman, but the Australian has already made a big contribution towards hauling Glamorgan out of trouble against Middlesex.

Colin Ingram is still there on 89 and Glamorgan are 253-4, leading by 93.

It's so far, so good for Leicestershire second time around - openers Rishi Patel and Marcus Harris have safely seen their side through to stumps at 24-0 against Gloucestershire.

That leaves the Foxes, who are following on, still 311 behind - so they'll need to bat through the majority of tomorrow to secure a draw.

At Derby, Northamptonshire opener Emilio Gay is 89 not out as the visitors build their lead against Derbyshire. They're now 195-2, with an advantage of 255.

David Bedingham to face Nathan Lyon, going back and across to defend into the off side.

    Three overs left tonight.

Saqib Mahmood will bowl and Ollie Robinson pulls a short ball square for four.

That was a very confident leave as the next ball fizzes past off stump.

The next ball is a chest high full toss - ruled as a no ball.

Six runs off the over in total as Durham strive to see out Day Three.

  6. 'Surprised if Somerset take the new ball'published at 18:24 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 379-2 f/o

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

I will be surprised if Somerset take the new ball this evening.

The danger with the new ball with the tired arms of the fielders, it just goes off the bat faster.

    Essex 224-4 (Target 330) v Warwickshire

Jordan Cox and Matt CritchleyImage source, Rex Features

Matt Critchley will have to wait until tomorrow to try and register a half-century, but the Essex all-rounder will be more than happy to keep his wicket intact overnight - with his side now favourites to chase down a stiff target of 330.

Critchley, on 46, has shared an unbroken partnership of 112 with Jordan Cox, exactly doubling the Essex total when the pair joined forces and they now need another 106 to secure victory against Warwickshire.

That's an impressive fightback after slumping to 12-2, with Michael Rae taking two early wickets for the Bears. it promises to be an intriguing morning...

  10. Close of play at Trent Bridgepublished at 18:16 19 May

    Notts v Hants 84-5 (target 169)

It's swung back and forth throughout three days - and now this is set up for a fascinating final morning.

Nottinghamshire looked firmly in the driving seat after reducing the visitors to 44-5, but this unbroken partnership of 40 between Fletcha Middleton and James Fuller has just about kept Hampshire in contention.

Opener Middleton is unbeaten on 33, while Fuller punched the penultimate ball of the day from Olly Stone to the boundary to reach 23 and Hampshire's hopes of scoring another 85 tomorrow may rest largely on these two.

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 342-1 f/o

Two balls after watching his captain pass 50, Zak Crawley is celebrating a double hundred.

He gets there with a lofted drive over long on, moving half forward to Andy Umeed.

That's his highest ever score for Kent and second only to his 267 against Pakistan in 2020.

  12. 'Labuschagne back with a bang for Glamorgan'published at 18:11 19 May

    Glamorgan 183 & 228-3 v Middlesex 343

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Glamorgan supporters have been treated to some fine innings from Marnus Labuschagne and Colin Ingram in recent years, but it’s usually been one or the other in red-ball cricket.

Today they’ve had both of them in action together as the overseas batters dug their side out of a deep hole in Cardiff, coming together with three wickets down and their side still 81 behind Middlesex.

But the pair worked hard on a low pitch to defy the visitors’ seam attack and play some shots against the spinners as they moved into the lead.

Labuschagne’s hard-earned ton came off 176 balls, but Glamorgan still had a lot to do to work towards the draw, with play likely to continue until 19:00 BST.

  13. 50 for Daniel Bell-Drummondpublished at 18:08 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 335-1 f/o

Daniel Bell-Drummond pushes Andy Umeed into the off side for a couple and there's his half century.

That second run comes from an errant overthrow.

That's his fourth 50 of a bumper season in which he also has two centuries.

He reaches the landmark off 90 balls with four fours.

  14. Postpublished at 18:04 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 333-1 f/o

Zak Crawley marches into the 190s with another sweep against the off spin of Matt Renshaw and this time the ball runs away in front of square for four.

He's nearly out in the next over with a lofted drive to long on but there's just enough elevation to carry the ball over Andy Umeed for six.

    He's on 199.

  15. Postpublished at 18:01 19 May

    Notts v Hants 67-5 (target 169)

Fletcha Middleton is battling on grimly while Hampshire leak wickets and he'll need to stay in if the visitors are going to somehow find a path to victory.

The opener has 28, while James Fuller is characteristically going for his shots and has reached 13 at a run a ball.

Fuller had a stroke of luck early on when he edged Dane Paterson to third slip, but Will Young fumbled the chance.

  16. Postpublished at 18:01 19 May

    Lancashire v Durham 111-3 (target 475)

Ollie Robinson misjudges away swing from Tom Aspinwall, playing and missing outside off.

He gets a single to wide mid on.

David Bedingham gets four more driving down the ground.

  17. Postpublished at 17:57 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 313-1 f/o

Matt Renshaw is back in the attack and Zak Crawley trades singles with his captain Daniel Bell-Drummond until the last ball which is swept firmly through square leg for four.

He's on 182 and a wicket seems a distant prospect at present.

  18. 100 partnership for Cox and Critchleypublished at 17:57 19 May

    Essex 213-4 (target 330) v Warwickshire

Warwickshire are starting to look a bit ragged at the moment and Essex have just ticked off another landmark as Matt Critchley steers Michael Rae through the vacant slip area for four to bring up the 100 stand between himself and Jordan Cox.

Critchley, who looked uncertain at the start of his innings, has blossomed to reach 41 as this chase shifts in the home side's favour.

  19. Durham pass 100 in stylepublished at 17:55 19 May

    Lancashire v Durham 105-3 (target 475)

Tom Aspinwall has bowled with good control in this innings but a rare loose ball is dispatched for six to take Durham past 100 in 23 overs.

Full, leg side and lofted in front of square.

  20. Postpublished at 17:52 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178 & 301-1 f/o

Zak Crawley lives a little dangerously as he gets away with an airy cover drive that scythes the ball just past two cover fielders for four.

That's the 100 partnership with Daniel Bell-Drummond in 151 balls.

In the next over, the 68th, he takes Kent past 300 with an airborne sweep over square leg for four off Jack Leach.
