It is a beautiful delivery from Shreyanka Patil and it's the easiest of catches for Deepti Sharma.

Chamari Athapaththu bad run of form continues.

Bad to worse for Sri Lanka. It's the big wicket for India with Chamari Athapaththu now on her way back to the dugout.

The left-handed Chamari prods at a delivery which straightens from Shreyanka Patil, bowling round the wicket, and nicks off.

Deepti Sharma is stationed at slip and who joyously gobbles up the catch.

A brilliant catch from Radha Yadav.

She hasn't featured in this World Cup yet, but she's one of the best fielders in this Indian side.

The ideal start for India as substitute fielder Radha Yadav takes a superb catch!

Vishmi Gunaratne throws her hands at a delivery from Renuka Singh and the ball goes high into the night sky.

Yadav makes up ground in the circle at backward point and dives full length to take an absolute blinder.

  8. 'Brilliant to watch'published at 16:45 British Summer Time

India batter Smriti Mandhana: "We really turned up today and I think Shafali Verma batted really well in the powerplay and got us off to a really good start. Then at the end the way Harmanpreet Kaur batted I think it was brilliant to watch. She timed it superbly.

"The wicket is not as expected when you came into the World Cup so you have to change your game quickly and adapt.

"You have to work really hard to run those twos. As a team it was a collective effort, and it was a really hard working wicket today so we are glad we are able to do that. Once you are set you know which areas to target.

India are now in an excellent position to bowl Sri Lanka out cheaply - their campaign is back on track.

    Thanks, Ffion.

Sri Lanka have made 85-9 and 93-7 in their two previous World Cup matches against Pakistan and Australia respectively.

It feels like India are firmly in the box seat here.

Bang! Harmanpreet goes straight down the ground for back-to-back fours and brings up her half-century in the process, a stunning 27-ball effort.

That's the highest team total of the tournament so far, surpassing South Africa's 166 from earlier today.

Sri Lanka, quite frankly, need a miracle and you feel they need it to come from Chamari Athapaththu.

It's going to be a tough chase regardless - here is Timothy Abraham to guide you through it.

Udeshika Prabodhani starts well, just three from the first two balls of the over and Richa Ghosh is on strike.

Harmanpreet Kaur is striking it really well in this innings. India can start to think about 170.

    There's just no stopping her!

Another one flies to the extra cover boundary as Ama Kanchana keeps feeding Harmanpreet Kaur freebies outside the off stump.

12 from the penultimate over, and Sri Lanka are behind on time, so they can only have three fielders out for this one.

Harmanpreet Kaur looks determined to make Sri Lanka pay for that drop, sweeping the final ball of Chamari Athapaththu's over for four more.

She moves to 30 from 19 balls with two overs to come.

No excuse for that one from Inoka Ranaweera. Straight in and straight out.

It's the catching that Sri Lanka need to look at.

  19. dropped catch

    Another goes down!

A full toss from Chamari Athapaththu is drilled straight to Inoka Ranaweera at cover, but again the ball hits the turf.

It was struck firmly but straight to her, definitely should've been taken.

  20. Ind 133-3published at 17 overs

    Frustration for Sri Lanka.

A pie down the leg side is gratefully put away by Harmanpreet Kaur to end what had previously been a very good over.
