I hope you've enjoyed the weather over the past few days as, I'm afraid to say, it might be a while before we have it that good again.

Saturday was the hottest day of the year so far with temperatures hitting 24c in London, but while bad light robbed us off a few overs in the final hour last night, expect today's cricket programme to be affected by some of those pesky showers April is so famous for...

Here's an outlook from our colleagues at BBC Weather.

    Today

Today will be cooler and breezier than of late with variable cloud, scattered showers, and sunny spells. Tonight, outbreaks of showery rain will move in from the north-west, these spreading into west England and Wales, though eastern England will see clear spells overnight.

    Monday

Tomorrow, northern and western areas will see outbreaks of rain, with just a few brief sunny spells possible. South-east England will start sunny, but areas of cloud will move in later. A breezy day.
