    Northeast c McManus b Broad 20 (Northants 413-9 dec v Glam 467 & 58-3)

Sam Northeast tries to sway out of the way of a Justin Broad bouncer and he's got a touch through to the keeper.

Northants have three in the session and Colin Ingram is in next.

  2. Postpublished at 11:44 BST 11 September

Notts 75-5 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Close! Lyndon James is drawn into a loose drive outside off stump, just missing.

He was well forward there and the intent is clear.

This is tough going for Notts.

  3. 50 runs

for Joe Phillipspublished at 21.5 overs

    Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 126-2

Joe Phillips tucks a Chris Wright no-ball away for a couple to backward square leg and reaches 50 from 61 deliveries faced. Good innings so far by the promising young opener.

  4. Postpublished at 11:43 BST 11 September

    Surrey 246 & 359-7 v Warwickshire 248

Dom Sibley moves to 80* with a single off Ethan Bamber's first ball of the morning which takes the Surrey lead to 350.

Tom Lawes reaches 13* from 18 balls with a two and a single before Sibley ramps a shortish ball over the keeper for a fine four.

Feels like we're in the final couple of overs of Surrey's innings here.

    The lead is 357.

Notts 75-5 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Ben Slater drives but can't get the ball through the off side.

That was in the air for a bit before landing at mid off.

Worcestershire have hardly given Notts an easy run today.

The fourth ball is aborted as Slater sports a bit of debris on the pitch. Loose tuft of grass by the look of it.

He is forward to nudge the actual fourth ball into cover for one.

  6. Postpublished at 11:41 BST 11 September

    Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 35-2

A scare for David Bedingham as Doug Bracewell's final ball of the over hits him on the glove and almost loops to the square-leg fielder.

He survives on 9* with Ben McKinney 6* from 40 deliveries.

  7. Postpublished at 11:40 BST 11 September

Notts 74-5 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Lyndon James is solidly behind his first ball, blocking Matthew Waite into the off side.

Now Ben Allison will try to dislodge Ben Slater.

  8. wicket

    O Price b Holland 8 (Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 120-2)

Ollie Price is bowledImage source, Rex Features

Ollie Price clouts Ian Holland for six but in attempting something similar next ball, he is cleaned up by the acting Leicestershire skipper.

Miles Hammond comes out to bat with his team 260 in front.

  9. Postpublished at 11:39 BST 11 September

Notts 74-5 - target 136 to beat Worcs

How do Notts get 63 from here - ideally before likely rain at lunchtime?

Width from Matthew Waite and Ben Slater shoulders arms.

Single off the fifth ball to fine leg. 62 required.

  10. Play due to start at 12:15 BST at Canterburypublished at 11:37 BST 11 September

    Kent 293 & 206-5 v Lancashire 284

Kent lead by 215 with five wickets standing but 28 overs have been lost today.

They'll get 45 minutes in before lunch.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:36 BST 11 September

    Revis c J Rew b Green 9 (Somerset 441-6 dec v Yorks 52-5)

We said earlier that a draw was on the cards "barring two Yorkshire collapses".

Maybe that isn't as fanciful a notion as it seemed at the time.

Matthew Revis swipes at a ball from Ben Green and an under-edge results in him being caught behind.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:35 BST 11 September

    Verreynne b Allison 3 (Notts 73-5 - target 136 to beat Worcs)

Kyle Verreynne is on the back foot, pushing into the off side for one.

The forecast might take a turn for the worse by lunchtime and Notts need to try and up the ante a bit somehow.

Single to Ben Slater via a miscued nudge to leg.

Bowled him! Middle stump out of the ground as Verreynne plays across the line! Superb from Ben Allison!

Lyndon James is in the middle.

  13. Postpublished at 19.5 overs

    Leics 342 & 482 & 112-1

We're seeing it all at Grace Road now. Joe Phillips walks right across his stumps and ramps Chris Wright over the keeper's head for four.

Risky shot, but productive on this occasion.

  14. Postpublished at 13.1 overs

    Somerset 441-6 dec v Yorks 52-4

Half-volley on leg stump from Ben Green and Matthew Revis eases it through mid-wicket for four runs as Yorkshire's total reaches 50.

Opener Adam Lyth is still there at the other end with 16 not out from 43 balls.

  15. Postpublished at 11:33 BST 11 September

    Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 35-2

Ben McKinney and David Bedingham are slowly settling in after a pretty traumatic first hour for the visitors at Chelmsford.

Bedingham times a straight drive down the ground beautifully off Doug Bracewell to move to 9* with McKinney 6* off 34 balls.

The deficit is down to 89.

So Surrey with the captain out there running for Dom Sibley will have a number in their heads and they'll know that there might be some rain coming as well.

Warwickshire have been really good in the field this morning.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:31 BST 11 September

    Tribe c McManus b Broad 24 (Northants 413-9 dec v Glam 467 & 49-2)

Asa Tribe nicks one down the leg side trying to glance Justin Broad and now Kiran Carlson will have a bat.

  18. Postpublished at 11:31 BST 11 September

    Surrey 246 & 343-7 v Warwickshire 248

Tom Lawes cracks a Nathan Gilchrist ball to the deep mid-wicket rope for a precious boundary for the hosts - their first in seven overs.

A single takes him to 8* from 10 balls while Dom Sibley moves to 70* with a couple into the covers before getting a stroke of luck with an uppercut off a bouncer, which drops just shy of Ollie Hannon-Dalby running in from the deep third rope allowing Rory Burns to run another two for Sibley.

10 off the over. The lead is 341. 82 overs remain.

  19. Postpublished at 11:30 BST 11 September

Slight delay. Kyle Verreynne is asking for new gloves.

  20. Postpublished at 11:30 BST 11 September

    Middx 298 v Derbys 283 & 60-3

After an uncomfortable buffeting by the Derbyshire batters in the first innings, loan signing Olly Stone is into the attack and looking for his first Middlesex wicket.

Good stuff so far, just a single conceded from his first two overs.
