Notts 60-3 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Matthew Waite bowling now and somehow Notts need to try and break the shackles.

    15-2 since we resumed.

Ben Slater gratefully accepts a leg side ball back of a length, tucked away for one to deep square.

Runs for Jack Haynes. Streaky though as he edges wide of second slip for four. A third slip would have pouched it.

    Surrey 246 & 319-5 v Warwickshire 248

That burst of 3-12 from 16 balls from Warwickshire has rather spoiled the Surrey blueprint this morning.

Gus Atkinson and Ryan Patel are trying to play positively but they are having to get up to speed quickly, with Michael Booth and Nathan Gilchrist pushing and probing from every delivery.

The lead is 318, but the hosts would have wanted that to be closer to 350 by now.

Notts 54-3 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Jack Haynes tucks his third ball away leg side, squeezing between bat and pad for his first run.

Two slips in for Ben Slater who shoulders arms.

    Ben CharlesworthImage source, Rex Features

It looks very much as if Gloucestershire are looking for a declaration at some point.

Ben Charlesworth clears his front leg at the start of a new Logan van Beek over and canes it over mid-wicket for a maximum.

Nine ball duck for Joe Clarke and there's no doubt about this one.

Striking in front of middle as he plays down the wrong line.

Deserved wicket for Khurram Shahzad and Jack Haynes is in.

  6. Gloucestershire lead reaches 200published at 11:00 BST

    Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 50-0

That's better by Ben Charlesworth who does little more than put bat to ball but his timing is so good, Josh Hull has no chance of making the stop in his follow-through. Four runs.

    Gay lbw b Porter 13 - Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 19-2

    You fear for Durham here.

Jamie Porter gets one to move in at left-hander Emilio Gay, who can't get the bat on it, the ball hits him infront of middle and leg, and up goes the finger.

The deficit is 105 as David Bedingham joins Ben McKinney, looking to make amends for his first innings golden duck.

  8. wicket

    Ul Hassan b Procter 2 (Northants 413-9 dec v Glam 467 & 9-1)

No bright and breezy start for Glamorgan, who lose an opener in the fourth over.

Zain ul Hassan tries to leave a ball from Luke Procter and he's tapped that into his stumps.

Glamorgan captain Sam Northeast is in next.

    Clark lbw b Booth 8 - Surrey 246 & 314-5 v Warwickshire 248

Michael Booth takes a wicketImage source, Rex Features

Those two quick wickets seemed to have stopped Surrey in their tracks...

Jordan Clark has two from nine balls when he picks up a short ball from Michael Booth to deposit it over the deep square boundary for six.

However Booth gets his revenge from the next ball, beating the bat and hitting the back pad and up goes the finger.

Gus Atkinson joins Ryan Patel, who has 2* from five balls.

The lead is 312 and this game is on absolute fast forward this morning.

Notts 52-2 - target 136 to beat Worcs

This has been a grind for Notts and there might not be time to grind out these runs if the forecast for this afternoon is correct.

    11-1 so far this morning.

Matthew Waite runs in after a little shuffle at the top of his mark and Ben Slater plays carefully into the off side.

He gets a single off the third dropped into the leg side.

LBW shout! On the knee in front of middle! Did he hit that? Not out.

Caught on the crease there. Must have edged it. Joe Clarke survives.

  12. Postpublished at 10:54 BST

    Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 19-1

This is not a particularly pleasant situation for Durham.

Doug Bracewell produces a snorter which comes back at Emilio Gay and hits the left-hander high on the pads, outside the line, crucially, and he runs a leg bye.

Jamie Porter is in the zone at the other end too.

    Time to dig-in, for Durham.

  13. wicket

    Wharton b Davey 1 (Somerset 441-6 dec v Yorks 33-3)

    It's all happening at Taunton.

Huge error of judgment by James Wharton, who offers no shot and Josh Davey hits off stump.

    Yorkshire in some 'strife'.

  14. wicket

    Agarwal c Abell b Gregor 0 (Somerset 441-6 dec v Yorks 32-2)

Golden duck on debut for India's Mayank Agarwal.

He pushes forward to Lewis Gregory and provides Tom Abell with a comfortable catch at third slip.

  15. Postpublished at 11.1 overs

    Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 43-0

Ben Charlesworth tries to swing a ball from Logan van Beek away to leg and gets four runs via a top edge to third man. Not his most elegant of strokes.

Notts 51-2 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Really good over from Khurram Shahzad, landing it on an ideal length on a tight line.

Joe Clarke is well forward trying to force through the off side. No run.

It was a solid catch from Kashif Ali at deep mid-wicket and Freddie McCann was tested one time too many.

  18. Hampshire docked points for poor pitchpublished at 10:51 BST

We had the good news for Hampshire fans a few minutes ago about the signing of Washington Sundar for the next two games.

Now it's time for the bad news......the club have been docked eight Championship points for a "substandard pitch" during their home match against Sussex in May.

Notts 51-2 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Leg bye off Ben Slater facing Khurram Shahzad so now Joe Clarke is on strike for the first time.

Clarke is down the track driving and the bowler parries it. No run.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 10:50 BST

    Lees lbw b Porter 5 - Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 18-1

A breakthrough for Essex as Alex Lees plays around a straight one from Jamie Porter and that's an absolute no-doubter.

First innings centurion Ben McKinney is the new batter, joining Emilio Gay, who is 13*.

    Durham still trail by 106.
