Notts 71-4 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Kyle Verreynnne is squared up a bit by Ben Allison but blocks safely down the ground with the full face of the bat.

An LBW shout is turned down, too leg side - and Verreynne has to dive back into his crease after pondering a single.

    Pressure.

Ben Slater ducks under a bouncer to see out the Matthew Waite over.

    Back to Kyle Verreynne.

Notts 71-4 - target 136 to beat Worcs

What would happen if Worcestershire could prize Ben Slater out now?

Slater is carefully forward to tap the second ball leg side for one.

    That's the halfway point.

Kyle Verreynne tucks a ball away leg side for his first run.

Bit of a dragged shot really. Thick inside edge.

One more to Slater, pulling to leg.

Verreynne drives into the on side for one more.

    Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 28-2

Ben McKinney and David Bedingham are standing firm under intense pressure.

McKinney has played two scoring shots out of 33 deliveries to reach 5* while Bedingham has 3* from 16 balls. The deficit is still 96.

Essex don't have Shane Snater to call on to bowl, which is a blow to their hopes, of course, but Simon Harmer will take over from Doug Bracewell as first change.

    Charlesworth c Hill b Wright 61 (Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 99-1)

Ben Charlesworth's enterprising knock comes to an end as he follows his back to back sixes off Chris Wright by trying for a third from the next ball and slicing a catch to Lewis Hill.

Ollie Price comes out with Gloucestershire 239 ahead.

Notts 67-4 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Kyle Verreynne leaves a wide ball outside off stump.

Similar line and length to the Jack Haynes dismissal.

This is brilliant from the Pears.

Notts are still just under halfway through the target and they've lost three wickets this morning.

Notts 67-4 - target 136 to beat Worcs

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

Kashif Ali must have had four different touches before he was able to truly sit there and smile and celebrate. Great relief I would imagine that he did hang on.

The only thing that Jack Haynes did wrong was that he didn't keep it down.

A really good wicket for Worcestershire to get at this stage. They are right back in this.

for Ben Charlesworthpublished at 17.4 overs

    Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 99-0

Ben Charlesworth goes his second 50 off the game in style with six over mid-wicket off Chris Wright.

It's taken him just 54 balls and he follows that up by swinging the next one behind square for another maximum

    Surrey 246 & 330-7 v Warwickshire 248

    This is box office stuff.

Runner Rory Burns just about makes his ground, well away from the crease, as Tom Lawes sets off for a single after Dom Sibley makes contact.

Warwickshire have crowded fielders in close and are giving former Bear Sibley some chin music.

He has 67* with Lawes on one and the Surrey lead is 328.

    Haynes c Ali b Allison 10 (Notts 67-4 - target 136 to beat Worcs)

    Change of bowling.

Ben Allison comes on in place of Khurram Shahzad.

He's round the wicket to the left-handed Ben Slater, who leaves the ball on length.

Slater gets a single into the leg side. They thought about two but cannot risk a run out at this stage.

Out! What a catch at short extra cover!

Brilliant from Kashif Ali, who juggles it at head height off a full-blooded drive and lands on his backside. But he held on.

Jack Haynes departs and Notts keeper Kyle Verreynne comes in.

    Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 79-0

Ian Holland beats Joe Phillips with a ball that keeps horribly low.

There is then a total mix-up between the batters which should have resulted in Ben Charlesworth being run out, but sub fielder Jonny Tattersall's underarm misses the stumps at the bowler's end.

Phillips thumps the next one away for four - he is 34 not out and the lead is 225.

    Nathan GilchristImage source, Rex Features

Wow. Ryan Patel cracks Nathan Gilchrist away off the back foot but Will Young takes a fine catch inches above the grass at short cover.

Dom Sibley, who retired on 64* with a soft tissue injury, is heading out, with Rory Burns as his runner.

The lead is 324. That's 50-5 in 10 overs this morning. This is the County Championship, remember.

  13. 'Gloucestershire are going to have to get lucky'published at 11:18 BST

    Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 75-0

    Ed Seabourne
    Commentator on BBC Radio Bristol

With the forecast being as it is, Gloucestershire are going to have to get very lucky to get all of the remaining overs in.

As we saw yesterday, if it is hefty showers, and it may well only take one, then that's the couple of hours off that Gloucestershire can't afford.

Notts 66-3 - target 136 to beat Worcs

Matthew Waite pushes the ball out a touch wider and Jack Haynes shoulders arms.

    Notts need another 70.

    Leics 342 v Glos 482 & 75-0

We have an interruption at Grace Road - but no, it's not rain.

There is a problem with the crease where Logan van Beek is landing his front foot.

A man with a metal rod comes out and pounds it hard into the surface.

    Play can now resume.

    Atkinson c Bamber b Booth 2 - Surrey 246 & 326-6 v Warwickshire 248

What a catch from Ethan Bamber at deep backward square leg, diving forward to catch Gus Atkinson as he pulls Michael Booth's leg-side delivery looking for six.

Surrey's momentum stalls further and Booth has 4-55.

Tom Lawes is the new man, joining Ryan Patel who has 10* from 17 balls and feels the Feathers' best hope.

Ooh, hold on, Dom Sibley, who retired on 64* with a soft tissue injury, is padded up on the balcony... that might help.

    The lead is 324.

Shot! Jack Haynes stays in the crease and deflects the ball from Matthew Waite to deep third for four.

    Immaculate timing.

He's drawn forward next ball into a play and miss trying to block.

Notts 62-3 - target 136 to beat Worcs

    Khurram Shahzad to continue.

Ben Slater drops the ball into the off side for no run.

The second ball is edged low and wide of the slips for two. Ethan Brookes keeps the ball inside the ropes.

The fifth ball is a tad wider.

Slater tries to cut from the crease and misses.

This is a tough watch for Notts fans.

    Bairstow c TKC b Davey 2 (Somerset 441-6 dec v Yorks 41-4)

It is an understatement to say that Yorkshire are not enjoying this.

Jonny Bairstow pushes forward in defence, the ball takes the edge, Tom Kohler-Cadmore makes no mistake with the catch at first slip and Josh Davey has his second success of the morning.

    Essex 457-8dec v Durham 333 & 21-2

Durham are in full survival mode here.

Ben McKinney gets off the mark from the 15th delivery he'd faced, from Jamie Porter, with David Bedingham on 1* from 10 balls, having just played and missed at Porter, who remains in the zone in the autumnal sunshine at Chelmsford.

    Durham are still 103 behind.
