This is interesting to bring an off-spinner Dan Lawrence in to two right handers. I am surprised there is no slip in place because it is turning.
Unorthodox is a good word for Dan's run-up.

The England star very nearly drags it onto his own stumps as the ball comes off the under-edge.
It runs away to the boundary nonetheless. Four runs.
Tom Banton then tries to hit Dan Lawrence out of Nottingham, makes no kind of connection whatsoever and it trickles into the leg side for a single.
No problem for the opener last ball, mind. Long hop from Lawrence and it's swatted away for four.

I had a feeling Tom Banton would get the sweeps out. He used the pace of Imad Wasim and all he had to do was beat the short 45 fielder.
Superchargers need to bring Adil Rashid on sooner rather than later because this game could get away from them.
