It went high. It went handsome. Harmanpreet Kaur opened her stance and swung that bat around the corner.

  3. Ind 108-2published at 14.4 overs

    Need 19 from 32 balls

    Swept for another boundary!

How quickly the momentum has shifted here. India are on a roll once more.

  4. Ind 104-2published at 14.3 overs

    Need 23 from 33 balls

Two dots to start the over from Charlie Dean, but Harmanpreet Kaur's had enough.

The third ball is slammed over cover for four - in fact, it's almost carried for six.

The captain is in the mood, it seems.

  6. Ind 100-2published at 14 overs

    And that pressure is eased.

Lauren Bell's slower ball is clubbed down the ground for four by Jemimah Rodrigues, who waits perfectly for it and picks the gap with precision.

Sophie Ecclestone has really bowled nicely. It feels like every game that goes by, she is finding that confidence and rhythm.

  9. Ind 88-2published at 13 overs

    Target 127

    And again?!

Harmanpreet Kaur misses a sweep, Amy Jones is very animated once again... but they decide against it.

Replays show a faint edge and just two come from the over. England are building a bit of pressure here.

  10. Not outpublished at 12.2 overs

    Ind 87-2

    A honking review.

Impact is way outside the line of leg stump.

  11. Eng reviewpublished at 12.2 overs

    Ind 87-2

    Now then.

Has Sophie Ecclestone got the India skipper?

This is an important partnership for India. England have got to take more wickets. They need to find the balance here.

  13. Ind 86-2published at 12 overs

    Target 127

India are able to just keep things ticking over for now.

There hasn't been a boundary for a while but they scamper five singles from Charlie Dean's latest.

In contrast, Issy Wong unveils her array of slower balls but Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues negotiate the over pretty easily.

Some smart running - including two after the ball ricochets off the stumps from a throw in to the bowler - sees them take seven off it with minimal risk.

It's too quick from Lauren Filer and Jemimah Rodrigues can do nothing with it. It's thrilling bowling from Filer.

  18. Ind 74-2published at 10 overs

    Target 127

    Great work from Lauren Filer.

She attempts a short ball which is unfortunately called a wide but beats Jemimah Rodrigues for pace throughout the rest of the over, drawing plays and misses outside the off stump.

Charlie Dean claimed the opening wicket for England after Shafali Verma had raced to 31 from 19 balls.

The opening stand of 56 broke the back of the chase and now, India's middle order can take a little more time and fewer risks to get to their target of 127.
