Summary

  1. WI 91-6published at 24 overs

In comes Joshua Da Silva, one place lower than the first innings. He added a tidy lower-order 82 last time, can he do the same here?

He sees off the final balls of Wood's over without scoring.

Meanwhile Sam Drury has claimed that things only happen in this match when I'm commentating. I'm handing over the live to him - let's see if he's right.

I don't think he could have felt it and I don't think the umpire knew it hit the wristband, he thought it hit the glove.

But that is what DRS is for.

It's out. Sinclair has got to walk off with the physio. Right on the edge of the wristband of the glove.

I'm sorry, you've got to go.

It was a horrible ball that skipped off the wristband of the glove and onto the forearm.

  4. wicket

    Sinclair c Crawley b Wood 1 (WI 91-6)

Brushes the wristband of the glove, Sinclair's ordeal is over!

A nasty rising delivery from Wood, Sinclair has to fend the ball and it skews off his wrist into the slips where Wood takes the catch.

He walks off with the physio.

Sinclair's reviewing it straightaway which suggests it didn't come off the glove or the bat.

He's got a damaged arm whatever it is.

Sinclair skies behind the stumps - taken with ease by Crawley in the slips!

He appeals immediately, was there any glove on this, or did it come off the arm guard?

Wood was already wheeling away in celebration when the ball was in the air.

Sinclair is desperate to get off the mark and it's a terrific bit of fielding from Mark Wood.

  8. WI 91-5published at 23 overs

Holder brings Sinclair back on strike from the first delivery of Bashir's over.

He survives a caught behind appeal and tries to scurry off for a single, only to be sent back by Holder.

Mark Wood gathers the ball at short-wicket and throws down the keeper's end - Sinclair just about makes it back.

Pace makes you do funny things and Sinclair got into a very awkward position.

Mark Wood is skiddy so it's harder to duck him.

  10. WI 89-5published at 22 overs

Sinclair has to endure six more Wood deliveries - he's unable to get the England seamer away and gets himself in a tangle a few times trying to defend his body.

The West Indies spinner has come in ahead of Joshua Da Silva, who got 82 in the first innings.

    Sinclair scored four.

    Holder gets his six!

He just missed out in the mid-wicket region in the previous Bashir over, but this time he clears the ropes.

    Just joining us?

Here are the first four wickets that West Indies lost.

They all fell in the space of four overs after drinks.

Jamie Smith has been impressive with the gloves in these two Test matches.

We've not had to say much about him and, like a goalkeeper in football, it's a good thing when that is the case.

That has been the story of Mark Wood's match.

  16. WI 83-5published at 20 overs

Mark Wood's back for another burst.

He crashes a ball into Sinclair's pad - it's heading down leg - and then whistles one past the edge of his bat.

Someone had to try and stop that slide but it was just one wicket after another.

No one tried to slow things down, call for a helmet or any of these little things you can do to break the momentum.

  18. WI 82-5published at 19 overs

Kevin Sinclair arrives at the crease - would he even been in his whites half an hour ago? The West Indies have lost 5-21 from 35 deliveries.

He fends off the final delivery of this Bashir over, and will probably head down the track to ask Jason Holder what on earth has happened.

Holder actually walloped Bashir for four before the wicket fell, a huge dig to the mid-wicket boundary, almost a six but dropping out of the sky just short of the ropes.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.5 overs

    Athanaze c Root b Bashir 1 (WI 82-5)

    Down goes another wicket!

Handy turning delivery from Bashir, drawing the edge of Athanaze and gathered by Joe Root at slip.

This innings has taken an absolute u-turn.

  20. WI 75-4published at 18 overs

Jason Holder is in a number six for the West Indies, at the non-striker's end after the wicket fell from the final ball of Bashir's over.

He'll have to wait to face, as Athanaze sees off six Woakes balls without scoring.
