  1. Postpublished at 18.4 overs

    Surrey v Bears 144-9

Another lbw, this time given, is overturned on review with snicko showing a big edge off Millie Taylor's bat off the bowling of Ryana MacDonald-Gay.

  2. Not even close!published at 18 overs

    Surrey v Bears 137-9

An appeal from Phoebe Franklin for lbw against Hannah Baker turned down is sent upstairs and sent back down quickly with a second shake of the head.

This is missing leg by a long way.

  3. 'There was never a second'published at 17:48 British Summer Time 27 July

    Surrey v Bears 135-9

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

It was the old green light running again.

Maybe they should have looked the red light there, or at least the amber light.

There was never a second. That was a long way out.

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.4 overs

Davis run out 7 (Surrey v Bears 135-9)

Georgia Davis pays for a crazy second run and is half the track out of her ground.

The ball is chipped by Millie Bright over the bowler to Paige Schofield who fires the ball back to bowler Phoebe Franklin.

She takes the bails with Davis not even in the picture.

  5. Postpublished at 17 overs

    Surrey v Bears 133-8

The Bears are ticking along in singles but could do with more here.

A tidy over from Dani Gregory goes for six which does not quite seem urgent enough.

  6. Postpublished at 17:42 British Summer Time 27 July

    Surrey v Bears 127-8

    Nikki Chaudhuri
Commentator on BBC 5 Sports Extra

It's gone in ebbs and flows. It seems Surrey's on top and then it seems like the Bears have got their energy back.

It's what you want from a final.

  7. Postpublished at 15.4 overs

    Surrey v Bears 125-8

Five overs to go and Alice Capsey is back on.

Georgia Davis and Millie Taylor might not have the firepower of the departed Laura Harris but they have to stick around and bat out these overs.

If they can get to 160 or even 150 plus they are in the game.

They may not get there in sixes but they can hit fours.

  8. Postpublished at 17:38 British Summer Time 27 July

    Surrey v Bears 115-8

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

The Bears have got to be sensible now.

If they pick up a single from every ball they would get to 150.

  9. 'They need to pick up whatever runs are left'published at 17:35 British Summer Time 27 July

    Surrey v Bears 115-8

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

That was well held on the boundary by Franklin.

And with that, the Bears' best chance in this game leaves for 25.

All that's left for the lower order is to occupy the overs and pick up whatever runs there are. Even if it's 140.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.1 overs

    Harris c Franklin b Gregory 25 (Surrey v Bears 115-8)

Just gets is a little high on the bat and finds the fielder.

That is a huge breakthrough with Laura Harris looking so dangerous. She swept off her legs but hasn't got enough on it and picks out deep midwicket.

Phoebe Franklin is having a good 10 minutes and Dani Gregory has her first wicket.

  11. Postpublished at 17:32 British Summer Time 27 July

    Surrey v Bears 113-7

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

She took all the pace off again.

Arlott was trying to work that legside but was through it far too early and the Zinger bails lit up.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.3 overs

    Arlott b Franklin 3 (Surrey v Bears 113-7)

Slower ball which Em Arlott does not pick.

Phoebe Franklin disguised that one coming out of the back of her hand and Arlott is annoyed at missing the triggers, swiping at a ball which had not yet arrived and seeing her leg stump rearranged.

  13. 'This is why she's so dangerous'published at 17:29 British Summer Time 27 July

    Surrey v Bears 111-6

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

That's a great pick-up from Harris. Nothing more than a flick of the wrists.

Sophia Dunkley thought she was in the game for a second but ended up watching it sail straight over her head for six.

This is why she's so dangerous. It might not always come off, but when it does it can change the course of an innings.

  14. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 13 overs

    Surrey v Bears 111-6

Laura Harris flicks Alexa Stonhouse off her legs and sees it beat the boundary rider at deep square leg for six.

She follows up with a neat steer through third for four.

Stonehouse looks a little discombobulated and strays wide.

Harris then helps herself to six more off the final delivery hoiked over cow corner and over the rope.

Harris is 24 from nine balls and looks key.

  15. dropped catch

Harris dropped on 8published at 12 overs

    Surrey v Bears 89-6

So close and hard to call that a drop really.

Laura Harris looks in the mood here and fired that back at Ryana MacDonald-Gay with venom.

The bowler parries it with two hands and nearly hangs on with a second grab whilst on her backside in her follow through.

    Saved a certain boundary.

  16. 'The Bears are in danger of not using their overs'published at 17:22 British Summer Time 27 July

    Surrey v Bears 83-6

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

It's pace off, that's the key on here. The Bears will have taken note of this.

Wraith with the toe end of the bat, all the pace off it from MacDonald-Gay and Bryony Smith did not have to move at extra cover.

The Bears are in danger of not using their 20 overs.

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11.2 overs

    Wraith c Smith b MacDonald-Gay 23 (Surrey v Bears 83-6)

And another as Bears are starting to wobble.

Slower ball from Ryana MacDonald-Gay and Nat Wraith is through the shot a little early, dobbing it up to Bryony Smith at extra cover.

Bears are in a spot of bother and need a big innings from Laura Harris.

  18. 'Tipping point'published at 17:20 British Summer Time 27 July

At 83-5 it's a real tipping point of this match

  19. 'That's brilliant keeping'published at 17:19 British Summer Time 27 July

    Surrey v Bears 83-5

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

    It's great work from Chathli.

To me that's a brilliant piece of keeping. Those hands are so quick.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 10.4 overs

Surenkumar st Chathli b Franklin 11 (Surrey v Bears 83-5)

This is a smart piece of work behind the stumps from Kira Chathli.

She was so close to breaking the line of the stumps in taking that but has just stayed her side of the line with the gloves before whipping off the bails.

Amu Surenkumar was a little off balance and could not get her back foot down in time.

Smart work as Phoebe Franklin gets a breakthrough that brings big-hitting Laura Harris.
