Summary

  1. WI 355-5published at 85.1 overs

Good ball to start from Gus Atkinson, squaring up Josh Da Silva and ball loops up off the shoulder of the bat.

But the gully fielder is slightly deeper than orthodox and the ball drops just short.

    Let's see today.

  4. WI 355-5published at 85 overs

After five dot balls to start the day, Jason Holder gets forward and drills a half-volley through mid-off for four.

Lovely shot but it was a loose delivery from Chris Woakes.

The England man had nipped one past the inside edge the ball before but it was half-hearted appeal. Too high.

Right then, here come the players, walking out as Jerusalem blares out at Trent Bridge.

It's cooler in Nottingham, grey. A day to bowl, really.

More importantly, was walking to the ground and overhead some lads discussing their breakfast options.

"I'm not really a fan of hash browns," said one.

What kind of animal doesn't like hash browns?

Friday was West Indies' best day of the series so far by a long way.

It was a particularly memorable one for Kavem Hodge, who came in at 84-3 and proceeded to hit his maiden Test century to keep his side right in the mix to win this second Test.

  10. Good morningpublished at 10:45 British Summer Time 20 July

After West Indies fought their way back into this series under clear blue skies on day two at Trent Bridge, we're back to see how England will respond on day three.

The tourists will resume on 351-5, trailing by just 65 runs and in a good position to earn a first-innings lead.

But conditions are far more favourable for the bowlers today. It's overcast in Nottingham and England have a ball that is just one over old to try and get into - and then knock over - the Windies lower order.
