This has been some really poor bowling from the West Indies, especially with the momentum they had before the break.

  2. Eng 33-1published at 5 overs

Four more for Pope, turning Alzarri Joseph away through fine leg.

He takes a single to square leg from the fifth ball of the over, moving to 23 from 15 balls.

    Is that... bait?

Surely not, folks. Perhaps Crawley was a little sluggish on the turn, but he hadn't ventured especially far down the pitch.

He scored 76 at Lord's just last week, and was extremely unfortunate this afternoon.

Why on earth do we still play Crawley? He's taking up a spot of an opening batsman that some players deserve more. I thought you had to earn your place in the team.

Crawley, no excuse. It's not T20. Why are you backing up like that?

Seales needs to lift this head a little bit here, his body language is off.

When you've got a lead, you need consistency and not much else.

It's been a bit like a powerplay in a ODI.

  8. Eng 28-1published at 4 overs

Ollie Pope is evidently enjoying this new bat, he crashes the first three balls of Seales' over away for four.

The first is a drive through the covers, the second a slash through a backward point, the third a neat clip to backward square.

The West Indies seamer tightens up with two dot balls, then draws a thick leading edge from his final delivery... landing safe and Pope runs a single.

Poor delivery from Alzarri Joseph, good shot from Pope though.

    Ollie Pope's bowled! ...Oh wait, no he's isn't, that's not a bail.

A piece of wood flew after Pope inside edged towards the stumps while attempting to drive Alzarri Joseph - turns out it was a significant chunk of his bat.

A replacement is brought out and Pope uses it to drive Joseph through point for four.

  11. Eng 9-1published at 2 overs

Ollie Pope comes in at the non-striker's end, he'll have to wait to face as Duckett retains the strike from the final ball of the over, pushing to point.

He'd struck the first ball of the over through square for four.

Some people say it's unlucky, some people say you should be back as a non-striker.

Fantastic bit of work from Seales, beautiful drive from Duckett but luck is not on their side.

Crawley run out (Seales) 3 (Eng 8-1)

    He is gone, Ebony!

Zak Crawley will consider that incredibly unlucky, Seales just managing to get a finger end on the ball while falling to the earth in his follow-through.

The England opener has scores of 0 and 3 in the match.

    I think he's gone Simon.

Could Crawley be in trouble here though?

Duckett drives straight back down the ground, the ball brushes the hands of Jayden Seales and hits the stumps.

    Has Crawley made it back?

This is going to be an intriguing Test match.

  18. Eng 4-0published at 1 over

No pair for Crawley, he punches Joseph's second ball down the ground - it's chased down to the ropes by Kraigg Brathwaite, and the England batters run three.

Crawley returns to the strike via a leg bye, and Joseph jags one past his outside edge.

  19. Postpublished at 13:56 British Summer Time 20 July

Right, we're ready to get going again.

Zak Crawley will face Alzarri Joseph - the England opener is on a pair, having been dismissed from the third ball of the match.
