  2. 'We were ruthless'published at 21:22 British Summer Time 13 July

England captain Heather Knight: "I think we played really well. We fed off the crowd, great energy from them. We wanted to put on a performance that entertained them and we did that. We were attacking and taking wickets. The two of the top did the bulk of the innings and it was nice to finish it off."

On the bowlers: "We've worked really hard to be here. The seamers were outstanding today. Danni Gibson came back today and I thought was brilliant today, I was really pleased with her. We were ruthless today, but we want to go this summer unbeaten and finish off Lord's on Wednesday with a win."

On the form of the whole squad: "A few selection problems as well, to be honest. The girls are making it really tough for us. Having that depth is driving us forward. Any team we pick can do a job for England and that is a great place to be. The competition is driving that at the moment."

On the crowd: "It's huge, we love it. We love the support. Our mantra is trying to entertain and inspire. We're seeing lots of young girls and boys here. We were getting involved in the Mexican wave as well. We love it."

On playing at Lord's on Wednesday: "Always, love it there."

  3. 'It is too big a hill to climb at the moment'published at 21:18 British Summer Time 13 July

New Zealand captain Sophie Devine: "England are certainly dealing us some honest, hard lessons and at the moment we are not learning from them. We are losing wickets in clumps and you can't do that against the best sides.

"I'm honestly not too sure why we're losing wickets in clumps, but you can't do that in international cricket because you won't post competitive scores. It is too big a hill to climb at the moment.

"We've got to learn really quickly and we've got a couple of days now to reflect and have a couple of training sessions.

"Hopefully our players put that in the experience bank in terms of playing in front of a big crowd. It is disappointing we can't put on more of a show."

  4. 'It was really good'published at 21:16 British Summer Time 13 July

England leg-spinner and Player of the Match Sarah Glenn: "Definitely. I felt the girls had so much energy in the field and backed me up as a bowling unit. It was really good.

On the bowling unit: "We communicate really well, we keep the stumps in play and are a tight unit off the field as well.

On your recent form: "I feel like I've not change too much technically, it's just the mind-set. I look to chase wickets, but with a really calm mind-set as well.

On narrowly missing out on a five-for: "I thought that with the last ball but dragged it wide, hopefully one day it will come.

"I don't know what I'm going to bowl, I'll take it for now."

    Have a listen.

    That was awful.

As poor as New Zealand were, you can't take that away from England. That was a really excellent performance.

New Zealand were just not at the races. It was really disappointing across all three facets. The high point was winning the toss.

    Make that four to win.

Nat Sciver-Brunt with a reverse sweep and the thinnest of edges, taking it fractionally past Izzy Gaze and to the boundary.

    Target 104

While New Zealand are rebuilding, as this series has highlighted, England have still got to beat what is in front of them.

Tonight, they have done that with relative comfort.

Just eight needed to win, with nine overs to do it in.

    Target 104

England have been a bit more gradual, the nearer they have gotten towards the target.

A lofted cover drive from Heather Knight ends a short spell without a boundary. Very well-timed.

New Zealand really needed to get up to 150-160 to put any pressure on England.

A total of eight runs come from that Eden Carson over, with England now needing just 14 runs to win at the halfway stage.

Given umpire's call on line and hitting the stumps.
