    This could be tight.

    Target 104

Amelia Kerr strikes the front pad of England captain Heather Knight, who has only just made her way out to bat.

Not given, Sophie Devine takes it upstairs. It looks close.

A pleasing over for for Eden Carson, taking the wicket of Danni Wyatt and only conceding three runs.

With England currently averaging 9.5 runs an over, that is pretty good going.

Three wickets in pretty quick succession for New Zealand.

Here is how they got their first...

    Wyatt c Jonas b Carson 26 (Eng (73-3) Target 104

    Another one for New Zealand!

Eden Carson comes into the attack and strikes with her first ball.

A mistimed shot by Danni Wyatt balloons into the air and is held well by Fran Jonas at short fine leg.

There's no excuse for it. New Zealand have been so poor in this series and I am getting sick of watching them now.

    Capsey b A Kerr 9 (Eng (73-2) Target 104

Alice Capsey goes four and out!

Having been gifted a four in the previous ball, Capsey's stumps are cleaned up by Amelia Kerr.

    Comeback on?

I'm so glad that England are playing in this manner so the group have something to get excited by.

  10. Eng 68-1published at 6.1 overs

    Target 104

Danni Wyatt starts off Amelia Kerr's first over with the ball by skipping down the ground and thumping it over cover for four.

It very much feels like a case of when, rather than if, for England.

It does feel like the wheels have come off a little bit for New Zealand.

  12. Eng 64-1published at 6 overs

    Target 104

Alice Capsey, the new batter in for Sophia Dunkley, gets her first boundary, helped by another New Zealand miss-field.

A drive to mid-wicket goes straight through the hands of Jess Kerr and goes to the rope.

    A 10-run over for England.

  13. Eng 59-1published at 5.4 overs

    Target 104

England are back into the boundaries, albeit through fortune.

A great bouncer from Tahuhu beats Wyatt, but Izzy Gaze is unable to stop it and it runs past her for four.

It probably just climbed on her a little bit and she was beaten for pace. She didn't get through the shot by the time it was on her.

I am surprised by how frustrated Sophia Dunkley was by getting out there. She's set the tone for England there and you know if she keeps going like that she will hit a 25-ball half-century at some stage. She shouldn't be too frustrated.

    Dunkley c Bates b Tahuhu 26 (Eng 54-1) Target 104

    A breakthrough for New Zealand!

A shorter ball from Lea Tahuhu gets the better of Sophia Dunkley, who top edges it high into the air, and it picks out Suzie Bates, who has an easy catch.

Dunkley has batted well, but her only mistake costs her.

  17. Eng 54-0published at 5 overs

    Target 104

Better from New Zealand, but still, seven runs come from the over in total.

  19. Eng 52-0published at 4.2 overs

    Target 104

Already, England are halfway at this target of 104. Some off line bowling has given England's opening batters the license to score quick runs and Sophia Dunkley and Danni Wyatt have done exactly that so far.

  20. Eng 47-0published at 4 overs

    Target 104

Another four for Sophia Dunkley in the penultimate delivery of the fourth over.

Driven back past Sophie Devine, the final runs of an 11-run over.
