Adil Rashid likes that. England want a wicket here.

    There's no bat...

  3. England reviewpublished at 28.4 overs

England are reviewing but I don't think they're confident.

They needed the on-field decision for this lbw shout as Marnus Labuschagne went back and was hit on the pad.

  4. Aus 182-3published at 28.2 overs

    Anyway. Adil Rashid is back.

    Big moments.

Did you see the World Cup final Super Over, Peter? Or that spell to Smith?

Archer averages 21.73 in ODIs with an economy of 4.80. I think he's alright.

Peter: I tweeted earlier about this, but wasn't published. Who still has the worst bowling figures? I'm really not sure about the fuss around Archer?

  7. Aus 181-3published at 28 overs

    Required run-rate: 6.13

Ah that's lovely from Travis Head. He uses Archer's pace to flash a cut to the boundary. A horrible misfield leaks another run a ball later, leading to groans from the crowd.

    Eight from the over.

Marnus Labuschagne has started in his usual way, with a few dabs down to third and some nudges into the leg side.

I'm intrigued to see how Labuschagne plays Jacob Bethell. He can't just take the single and expect Travis Head to take all the risks.

  9. Aus 175-3published at 27.3 overs

It's a better start to this over from Jofra Archer as the floodlights start to take effect.

A big moment for Jacob Bethell with his first international wicket.

He was able to enjoy it but was very quickly engaged in a chat with Adil Rashid, who was playing a number of shadow shots.

Presumably giving the England ODI debutant a few tips on what to expect from the incoming Marnus Labuschagne.

  11. Aus 172-3published at 27 overs

Neeed 143 runs to win from 23 overs

Jacob Bethell may sleep with his mouth taped shut and have a haircut like Pat Butcher but he's finding turn off this pitch. I bet Pat couldn't spin it like this.

WinViz, if you're wondering, is now at exactly 50-50.

Marnus Labuschagne changed the game with the ball. He strides to the middle, chewing his gum as ever, as he looks to win the match with the bat.

Bethell is one of those left-arm spinners who is dangerous to cut because he gets under-spin on it. You need to play with the full face of the blade. Clever bowling!

    Green b Bethell 32 (Aus 169-3)

Jacob Bethell delivers for England! Oh they needed this.

Cameron Green thinks about a cut but sees the ball slide under his bat to hit the stumps.

He's got a big future this lad.

    Target 316

Terrible pun. I don't blame you for leaving your name off it.

Travis Head slashes at a wider ball from Jofra Archer. It goes for four making it an expensive comeback over from Archer.

That lad who met Travis Head will never baguette it.

Travis Head is playing well, obviously, but Cameron Green has come out playing like a dream. He drives Archer down the ground for four.

Adil Rashid's final few overs are going to be crucial.

    Thanks Tim.

England need a wicket so they have turned back to Jofra Archer.
