Travis Head pings one through the covers before he is beaten by a peach of a delivery from Jofra Archer which beats the Aussie left-handed opener all ends up.
Head offers a wry smile in response.
Brydon Carse almost takes a one-handed screamer - a la Ben Stokes in the 2019 World Cup against South Africa - after Travis Head flashes off the final ball of the over from Matthew Potts.
He is just not quite able to hang on.

Oliver Camp: Matthew Potts is under-rated. He can lack a bit of control but he is so dangerous. Not all bowlers carry this level of threat at this kind of pace. He has something extra.

Listen to that reaction for Steve Smith! The England fans don't forget, do they?! It's grudging respect from England fans really.

Now we get to see Steve Smith v Jofra Archer! That's where you bowl to Mitchell Marsh. It's one of his favourite shots but Potts found that bit of extra bounce. It's a key wicket.
Marsh c Carse b Potts 10 (Aus 20-1)
Mitchell Marsh pumps Matthew Potts for four over off but a couple of balls later he's on his way back to the pavilion.
It's a a shorter ball from Potts and Marsh can only top-edge it down to deep square leg where Brydon Carse is stationed and gobbles up the catch.
Jofra Archer's radar a little off in that over as he concedes three wides - the last of which he takes issue with.
Plenty of menace in there from the England quick, who finishes by jagging one past Travis Head's defensive prod.

Australia's best ODI chase in England is the 305-7 they scored at Old Trafford in 2020.
Jofra Archer is fraction wider and this time Mitchell Marsh latches on to it. The ball goes like a rocket to the boundary from the Marsh cover drive.

Mitch Marsh is such an imposing presence - he's not called The Bison for no reason.
Wooosh. That was quick from Jofra Archer.
He zips one past the open blade of Mitchell Marsh, who is not confident enough to leave it. The England fast bowler is getting the ball to move into the batter.

In The Hundred, Harry Brook was always trying to trick the batters with his captaincy. We might end up saying he's messing around and trying too many things up here, but let him get on with it. Wherever he thinks the ball will be hit in the air, he'll put a fielder. Leave him to it.
Matthew Potts with the next over for England. Harry Brook is busy picking the brains of Ben Duckett on his field for the Durham quick.
It's a good start from Potts, with just one run conceded off the over and the outside egde of Mitchell Marsh's bat beaten on a couple of occasions.

You just know that when Travis Head opens the batting in the powerplay, he's only got one thought and it'll be high-class and interesting.
Late movement from Jofra Archer and Travis Head flashes at it. The ball goes high and over the slips for four.
Right, Jofra Archer has the ball in hand and looks itching to get going. Travis Head is the man on strike for Australia.
We will soon see, Will!
The players are back out, Jofra Archer has the ball in hand and Timothy Abraham is here to take you through the start of the chase.
Enjoy.

All depends on the powerplay a young bowling attack against two Aussie powerhouses! 2 wickets in the powerplay and England win! Come on the boys!
Will, Norfolk
In the end England lost their last eight wickets for 102 runs in 17.2 overs. All of those wickets fell to spinners, most of them part-timers, and not one over of pace was bowled in the last 15 overs.
England will surely follow the same plan later. Adil Rashid, Will Jacks, Liam Livingstone and Jacob Bethell, get ready.
