    Those two wickets going bang-bang just before tea puts Somerset in a fantastic position to beat Hampshire.

    Surrey 173 & 294 v Notts 231 & 256

    Surrey are beaten at home in the Championship for the first time in more than two years.

    That is some game of cricket we have witnessed at The Oval with it swinging one way and then the other over the course of four riveting days.

    The weather even added to the drama by keeping us waiting yesterday.

    A big nod to the captaincy of Haseeb Hameed who held his nerve at crucial moments and got his bowling changes spot on.

    What about Liam Patterson-White? One over of spin to get the breakthrough and a crucial top score of 58 in the game in that second innings for the visitors.

    Jonny Bairstow cuts his second boundary of the over to reach 46 not out as tea arrives with Yorkshire 25 in front.

    They were in dire straits at 6-3, all three wickets taken by left-arm spinner James Coles, who took the new ball for Sussex.

    Despite the occasional alarm, Bairstow and James Wharton have added 75 in 26 and a half overs since the fall of Finlay Bean.

    Earlier, Sussex added 18 to their overnight 232-8 following a delayed start to earn a batting bonus point.
