Do Lancashire know they are just Lancashire and not Lancashire Lightning today?

George Balderson, retired out in the Vitality Blast semi-final last week for not being a big enough hitter, has just smacked a four and then a massive leg side six.

    Sussex 250 v Yorks 194 & 19-3

James Coles continues his excellent spell at Hove. He's getting turn and bounce. Just a single from his sixth over - he has figures of 3-8.

Yorkshire need to score another 37 to clear the deficit.

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 94-3

The Ben Brown and Nick Gubbins block-a-thon moves to 162 balls.

Somerset haven't been threatening quite as much in the last couple of Kasey Aldridge and Lewis Goldsworthy overs.

Tom Curran plays a back-foot drive which flies off the edge down the boundary.

In case you missed it earlier on, Leicestershire have been confirmed as Division Two champions after their game and the one involving second-placed Glamorgan were both washed out as draws.

No trophy yet, but understandably the Foxes are in celebratory mood.

    Jones c Gohar b Morgan 33 (Lancashire 342-5 v Middlesex 211)

Michael Jones tries to go big again but this time picks out Zafar Gohar on the deep square boundary.

Gohar makes the signal that he struggled to pick the ball up against the balck seats, but he pouched safely in the end.

A second wicket for Seb Morgan, not that there are many celebrations.

    Surrey 173 & 231-5 v Notts 231 & 256

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

Hasseb Hameed has to get this right. It's only a little passage but runs have started to flow for Surrey.

They've got to get it right with defence and attack because the ball is going to the boundary. Hameed wouldn't mind singles.

    Surrey 231-5 (Target 315)

Tom Curran tries to slog-sweep Dillon Pennington and it misses everything - somehow!

Brett Hutton is back for Notts - I'm no captain (13:58 BST) but this looks a good call from Haseeb Hameed.

    Bedingham c Allison b Waite 58 (Durham 173-3 v Worcs 591-9 dec)

He has to trudge off after a fine catch.

  14. Postpublished at 13:58 BST 18 September

A long pause mid-over as Josh Tongue and skipper Haseeb Hameed discuss field placings.

After all that Tongue bowls a full toss and is lucky to only go for one run off it.

The final ball is driven for four by Dan Lawrence.

Just wonder if Notts might be better served by bringing Brett Hutton back on?
