South Africa were victorious in the first two ODIs in their series in Australia in August, then conceded 431 in the final match and got themselves bowled out for 155, losing by 276 runs.

South Africa have been accused of various shortcomings over the years but this is a new one - a 'dead-rubber syndrome'.
Just a little bit out of focus, proven by the odd dropped catch earlier.
Corbin Bosch sends Jamie Overton's second ball to mid-wicket to bring up South Africa's 50.
After a rather gloomy few hours, the field is suddenly bathed in sunshine but there's also a big dark cloud behind the ground.
The forecast is still reasonable though, so I'm not sure South Africa are going to escape this one.
Adil Rashid sends down four dot balls to new batter Codi Yusuf to end the over.
The South African number nine has no sponsor on his bat, but he does have a first-class top score of 84...

No wicket, unfortunately - with one run from a leg-side bouncer as he bowls to Keshav Maharaj.
He's still in the high 80mphs - will he take another?
Keshav Mahraj gets off the strike with a single before Corbin Bosch fires the over's final ball straight back at Brydon Carse, jagging away off the bowler having bounced, with no run taken.

You can almost understand how this has happened today - with it being a dead rubber, England having a load of batting talent and a good wicket.
