Despite throwing away a 4-1 lead to fall at the semi-final stage last week, Luke Humphries did enough to edge ahead of Luke Littler at the top of the table.
The world champion is ahead of Littler on nights won.
Meanwhile, Nathan Aspinall is up to third and it increasingly looks like it will be four from five to make it through to the play-offs with Gerwyn Price in sixth now 10 points off the top four.

Aspinall showed his fighting qualities for a comeback semi-final triumph over world champion Luke Humphries.
And he maintained the momentum against Smith to claim his second night victory and move above Michael van Gerwen into third place in the table.
