    Price 5-6 Dobey

Full credit must be given to Chris Dobey for that comeback. He threw some exceptional high scores, including EIGHT 180s and a 109 average.

4-0 and 5-1 down, he showed brilliant character to battle back and beat an in-form Gerwyn Price.

That's a great answer by Dobey to those who have questioned his place in the Premier League this year. Sixth place in a stacked field is not to be sniffed at, we wait and see if he will be back in 2026.

That means the top four in the 2025 Premier League table is set. It will finish thus...

    1. Luke Littler
    2. Luke Humphries
    3. Nathan Aspinall
    4. Gerwyn Price

And that means the play-off semi-finals next week will be...

    Luke Littler v Gerwyn Price

    Luke Humphries v Nathan Aspinall

    Mouthwatering.

  12. Dobey winspublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 22 May

    Price 5-6 Dobey

A remarkable comeback from Chris Dobey! Single 20 then D10, he fights back from 5-1 down to win this match by bagging five legs on the spin.

That consigns Gerwyn Price to defeat, and a fourth place finish in the table.

But Dobey misses twice at tops!

    Can Price punish him?

Fantastic response from Chris Dobey and he now becomes favourite.

    Price 5-5 Dobey

If Price loses this leg, he loses this match, and finishes fourth.

That would mean he faces Luke Littler in the semi-finals next week.

And Chris Dobey hits his eighth maximum to set up 97 to win!

  16. Dobey breakspublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 22 May

    Price 5-5 Dobey

But there's no finish for Price, so Dobey needs 100 to level!

T20, D20, and it is all square. We have a deciding leg.

  17. Postpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 22 May

    Price 5-4 Dobey

Gerwyn Price will not be happy with allowing Chris Dobey back into this. He will have to raise his game next week in London.

He's set up 101 to win this match...

  18. Postpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 22 May

    Price 5-4 Dobey

Despite this match feeling quite scrappy, both men are averaging over 100. There has been some huge scoring.

Dobey has a 142 finish, and has six darts at it with Price well back again. So he sets himself up for three at D8.

He just needs one. The gap is now one leg.

  19. Dobey breakspublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 22 May

    Price 5-3 Dobey

Gerwyn Price has lost some of that rampant energy we saw earlier, and Chris Dobey keeps racking up the maximums - now seven in this match!

Price has the throw, but is nowhere as Dobey sets up a 46 finish. The Geordie converts, and suddenly there is jeopardy to this match.

  20. Postpublished at 20:56 British Summer Time 22 May

    Price 5-2 Dobey

Chris Dobey has averaged over 100 in this match, without truly ever being in the contest. He hits a fifth 180, then a sixth. But it's the barren patches which have let him down.

He keeps himself in the game with a 12-dart leg.
