Rob Cross has the darts though..

    Cross 5-4 Humphries

Rob Cross has the game on his throw though, and he hits a 12-darter to go one away from victory.

Voltage hit three straight 140s in that leg to give Humphries no chance.

A 180-140 start is typical Luke Humphries stuff but the messy set-up has him looking to the heavens - before it then changes to anger with three more missed doubles.

Rob Cross takes advantage again and this time it puts him in front as Humphries is in danger of throwing this away.

Cross has the break back and it's an open game.

  6. All squarepublished at 21:51 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Cross 3-3 Humphries

Luke Humphries looks to be cruising to the sixth leg but misses three clear shots at double and Rob Cross can return and take out 64 all on 16s to level the match.

There was no real danger in that leg for Humphries and he was guilty of sleepwalking into losing that.

  7. Cross cuts the gappublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Cross 2-3 Humphries

Rob Cross' turn to hit a 180 and win a 14-dart leg to cut the gap back down to one, again it's on his own throw so Luke Humphries won't be too fussed right now as he can serve this one out of he keeps holding his throw from here.

  8. Humphries respondspublished at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Cross 1-3 Humphries

Luke Humphries, as he usually does, responds to pressure and kicks off leg four with a maximum and almost hits a Hollywood 167 finish but hits 25 instead of the Bull.

He cleans it up on his next visit though to restore his two-leg lead.

  9. 10-darter!published at 21:45 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Cross 1-2 Humphries

Much better from Rob Cross who starts with a 180 and finishes with his favourite double 18 to complete a brilliant 10-darter.

The only shame for Cross there was that it came on his own throw.

  10. Postpublished at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Cross 0-2 Humphries

    John Part
Former PDC world champion on Sky Sports

Really disappointing from Rob Cross. Luke Humphries has really got away with it.

  11. Scrappy secondpublished at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Cross 0-2 Humphries

A fine start suddenly goes flat for both players but it's Luke Humphries who emerges with a slightly fortunate win in the second leg to double his lead.

It took him all of 20 darts to get it doen but with Rob Cross missing doubles for fun he only has himself to blame.

  12. Fast start for Humphriespublished at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Cross 0-1 Humphries

A 180 start for Luke Humphries - who then hits another to leave 84. He just sets it up and banks on Rob Cross not taking out 160, and he's right as he returns to grab an early break of throw.

That was one of the great Premier League displays. Luke Littler came here feeling unwell, but he's made Stephen Bunting feel sick.

  16. Great statspublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

Eye-watering stats for Luke Littler there as he averages 112.34 with 10 maximums in that 6-3 victory, while also going 6/9 on the doubles.

Spare a thought for Stephen Bunting as well though, as he averaged 104.89, hit six 180s, took out a 105 and missed just two darts at double - and lost convincingly!

  17. Luke Littler wins!published at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February
    Breaking

    Bunting 3-6 Littler

Another 180 for Luke Littler, his 10th of the match, follows a 140 start and he soon tidies up the leg in 11 darts to seal a brilliant performance and a brilliant victory for the defending champion.

  18. Postpublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

Bunting keeps his cool. Just about hanging in there.

  19. Bunting on a ninepublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Bunting 3-5 Littler

Stephen Bunting is on a nine darter as he starts the leg with back-to-back 180s - and although he can't get the finish he does at least take the leg.

It takes an 11-dart leg just for Bunting to stop the rot...

  20. Closing inpublished at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Bunting 2-5 Littler

Another two 180s for Luke Littler as he moves one leg away from victory.

Credit to Stephen Bunting who is hitting 180s and fighting away but the world champion is just too strong right now.
