Nathan Aspinall is doing what he needs to do so far.

Despite a bounce out costing him a 180, he gets down to a finish first and hits double 12 to close in on the final.

He needs one more leg to get there but if Luke Littler holds, we'll have another one-leg shootout.

Luke Littler wasn't crisp in his quarter-final but I love how he's been throwing the darts in this game. The problem for him is Nathan Aspinall has been doing a pretty good job himself.

    Crucial hold for Nathan Aspinall.

After hitting his first 18 of the match, he finishes on double four for a 13-darter.

He said anything after winning his quarter-final was a bonus tonight but with so little to separate third and fifth, another couple of wins could be massive come the end of the campaign.

These two meet in the quarter-finals in Leeds next week - and that is good news for Luke Littler.

Luke Littler starts the match with five perfect darts and goes on to break.

I mentioned at the start of the night that it was beginning to look like three from two for the last couple of play-off spots.

Well, it is looking even more like that following those quarter-final results.

Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen have put more distance between themselves and the rest.

As for Luke Littler, sitting pretty at the top, that record fifth nightly win is still on...
