Next up this evening, it's Nathan Aspinall up against Chris Dobey in a key match in the battle for the top four.

Aspinall currently sits in that fourth and final play-off spot and will be out to ensure he remains there - at the very least - at the end of the night.

He averaged 104.03 but was still beaten by an inspired Luke Humphries in the quarters last week in Liverpool.

Dobey also fell at the first hurdle on Merseyside, going down 6-2 to eventual nightly winner Gerwyn Price.

Given he is seventh, five points off the top four, Dobey will know this is pretty much a must-win game to keep his play-off hopes alive.

    Result: Littler 6-5 Bunting

Despite that oddly slow start from Luke Littler, he still finishes with an average of 98.11 to Stephen Bunting's 95.25.

The Nuke was also 4-2 up on the 180s and it's a good job he upped his scoring because Bunting was five of six on the doubles - 83.3%.

Littler wasn't too bad either at 60% and it's the world champ through to the last four in Birmingham.
