Evans needs 52 for the match. 12 leaves two at double 20. He takes it out first time!

Chizzy is out but wow, that is the match of the tournament and will take some beating.

Neither deserve to lose that. An Alexandra Palace classic!

Yet again, Dave Chisnall is throwing to stay in the match.

Dave Chisnall, on his second visit, finds another 180. Timed to perfection.

Two visits later, Ricky Evans replies with one of his own. He's not out just yet.

Chisnall is left on 164 and takes 96. Evans then takes 96 out of 206.

Chizzy needs 68 for the match. 20, eight. Double 20 needed and he goes low.

Evans is here for 110. Treble 19, 17, double 18!

That is absolutely enormous! 4-4!

Dave Chisnall, against the throw, starts 140, 134 and Ricky Evans has let him have a chance to break.

Chizzy gets 149 for a break. Treble 20, treble 19 and he just misses double 16. So close.

Evans is on 170 but is without a treble.

Chizzy has three darts at the 16s for a enormous break of throw. The first is wide and a blocker, the second misses and the third creeps in.

Chisnall is throwing for the match!

You can feel the tension up on stage, even without being there.

A 140 from Dave Chisnall puts him ahead but his next visit does not bring a treble. Ricky Evans replies with a 134.

Chisnall does not get 146 to go, but does leave 16.

Evans, on 124 goes 20, treble 18, a long pause and a 25. Gripping.

Chisnall has to take double eight. Miss, hit. Level.

2-2 in sets, 3-3 in legs.

Ricky Evans starts the fifth leg with a flung in 180.

On his throw, he gets down to 170 and will get six darts to hold his throw.

The first three bring 96. On 74, Evans goes 14, 20, double 20.

A 121 gives Dave Chisnall a lead and a 58 next leaves the big fish.

A 134 from Ricky Evans puts the pressure on.

Treble 20, treble 20, 25. That was almost it!

Evans needs 151 for the match and does not get it started.

Chisnall needs to take this to stay in the match and tournament. He gets the nine and the double eight. Level match.

The match has to be decided by two clear legs. If we get to 5-5 all, we're going to sudden-death.

If we're level after the next two legs, we are going the distance and this match probably deserves that.

Ricky Evans takes 125 out of 185 to leave three darts at 60.

Dave Chisnall throws a couple of loose darts and having led the leg, invites Ricky Evans back in.

Rapid gets three darts at 150 for a break of throw, with Chizzy waiting on 82.

The treble five first dart from Evans brings Chisnall back.

A bull first dart precedes misses at double 16 on both sides but again, Chisnall will get another chance as Evans puts two off the board going for two double 19s.

Chisnall splits the eights, fours and misses the twos before Evans busts his 76 out shot.

Chizzy splits the twos and at the madhouse, takes double one for a level match.

If you can't enjoy this then darts is not for you. It has been frantic and frenetic but the accuracy is deadly. The drama is right up there with the best we've had in this World Championship and there's more to come.

Needing a hold of throw to level the match, Dave Chisnall starts the leg with his latest 180.

A 137 leaves him needing just 44 after nine darts and he will get six darts at it.

Four, tops. Motown.

Chizzy gets down to a 170 shot first, but goes trebleless. He will be back as Evans leaves 81.

On 114, Evans misses treble 19 twice and ends with a one.

Evans goes a touch high on bull for a 75 out, exactly what Chizzy still needs.

Treble 17, double 12. He leads the set 2-0.

Ricky Evans, entering the fourth set, is still on an average above 100 for the match. That third set at 97.57 was his lowest so far.

On 121, Dave Chisnall pins it on bull for a hold of throw. He's not out of this.

He jokingly taunts the crowd for their Evans chants and Chizzy gets a few boos for doing so.
