    Smith 1-1 Van Gerwen

Better from Smith on his throw, helped by a couple of trebleless outings from Van Gerwen.

He leaves himself with three darts to take out 48, but he only needs two, going eight and then tops to level up.

Michael Smith v Michael van Gerwen

From the 2024 World Championship final, we now have the 2023 World Championship final on display in the other semi-final.

Michael Smith has a really good chance to break into the top four tonight, a win over MIchael van Gerwen would help.

Mighty Mike was clinical at the end of what proved to be a surprise win over Nathan Aspinall in the end of their quarter-final.

  6. Littler at his bestpublished at 21:49 British Summer Time 11 April

    Result: Humphries 5-6 Littler

The quarter-final win over Rob Cross was a bit patchy for Littler, but the same could not really be said there, having averaged 107.23 in that win.

Littler scored five maximums, but Humphries had three of his own to match.

Humphries took out 55.6% of his checkouts, but Littler's rate of 46.2% got the job done and he is in yet another final.

    Result: Humphries 5-6 Littler

That is why these two top the table!

What an absolutely phenomenal game of darts we've just witnessed.

Humphries went 2-0 up, Littler won five on the spin to go 5-2 up, then it was 5-5, and then a break of throw from Littler in the last.

Going into the final leg, Humphries had just won three straight legs and had the darts in his control to win the match.

Littler was imperious and deserved that win, landing a dart in double 14 for victory, but what a fantastic match from both.

    Humphries 3-5 Littler

It had to take something pretty spectacular for Humphries to break Littler's throw the way he has been playing.

To his credit, he does that. He takes out 68, going 20, double 16, double 18.

  14. You couldn't make this uppublished at 21:40 British Summer Time 11 April

    Humphries 2-5 Littler

I should stress, Luke Humphries is still playing pretty well. Littler has just been that good.

Littler breaks throw and wins his fifth leg in a row with a 94 checkout.

The first dart bounces out, the second finds treble 18 and the third finds tops.

Humphries can only respond with a wry smile.

Nobody has played darts of the quality Luke Littler is showing since Michael van Gerwen in his peak. There is an ease and a flow.

This is brutal! The world champion is a bystander at the moment.

  16. Littler wins anotherpublished at 21:38 British Summer Time 11 April

    Humphries 2-4 Littler

Luke Humphries is the defending world champion but right now, he just has a front row seat to Littler's brilliance.

The 17-year-old wins a fourth leg on the trot, taking out 52 with a 12 and tops. This is something else.

  17. Littler is untouchablepublished at 21:37 British Summer Time 11 April

    Humphries 2-3 Littler

From seven perfect darts in the last leg, Littler then throws six to start off leg five.

Dart seven lands in treble five instead of treble 20, which narrowly ends another chance for Littler.

Instead, he returns to take out 108. Littler goes treble 17, single 17, tops, for another 12-dart break.

Littler has just thrown the three most brilliant legs.

  18. Seven perfect darts from Littlerpublished at 21:35 British Summer Time 11 April

    Humphries 2-2 Littler

Wow, what a finish that would have been!

Luke Littler throws seven perfect darts, but the eighth goes just below treble 19, leaving himself 20 after nine darts.

Littler misses three darts at doubles, but then returns and takes out double five to go 2-2 up.

    A crazy, crazy match.
