With 80 left, Snakebite finds tops with the first dart, misses the second, but finds it again with the third to level it up and break back. What a finish!

It is the start Humphries wants in this match, with three visits of 100+ to start off the opening leg.

"I am close to the play-offs and every first game I win now is massive. There is a lot of pressure on my shoulders but I know I can handle it."

Tonight's opening quarter-final in Birmingham sees Peter Wright take on Luke Humphries.

Although he starts the night bottom of the table, Wright was very unfortunate not to win his quarter-final against Gerwyn Price in Manchester last week, having posted an average of 109.52.

Meanwhile, Luke Humphries starts the night in second place in the table, dropping off top spot following back-to-back quarter-final defeats.

This is the fourth meeting between the pair this season, with Humphries winning each of the previous three.

World champion Luke Humphries was beaten in the final of the eighth Players Championship event on Tuesday following Luke Littler's early exit.

Humphries beat Gary Anderson and Chris Dobey, winner of Monday's event seven, on his way to the final in Leicester before losing 8-6 to Danny Noppert.

The Dutchman, 33, earlier beat Gerwyn Price before his clinical finishing took him past Humphries.

Littler lost 6-5 to Kevin Doets in the third round.

After back-to-back wins in Belfast and Manchester, Luke Littler has moved above Luke Humphries at the top of the Premier League table.

With tonight being night 11 of 16 in the group stage, we are slowly getting nearer to knowing which four players will make it to the play-off night at the O2 in London on 23 May.

In case you are unaware of how the table works, here is a quick explainer.

Players who win in the quarter-finals are awarded two points. Players who lose in the quarter-finals get no points.

The two players who win their semi-finals see their points tally for the night increase to three points and the winner of the final picks up five points.

The top four players in the table after night 16 will advance to the play-offs.

For any players level on points, the first tie-breaker is nights won. Should that be level, the next tie-breaker is matches won.
