Luke Littler is even in Forbes now! He's having his time managed well by his management.

He's not even the best player in the world at the moment, Luke Humphries is, but he is bringing a lot of eyeballs to the game.

Can he win three in a row? Why not?

  4. 'I know I've got the ability to win again'published at 19:48 British Summer Time 11 April

    Rob Cross v Luke Littler

Luke Littler speaking to Sky Sports: "I know I've got the ability to win and I know how to finish the job. I also know if I win a few games tonight I might be through to the play-offs but until my name has that 'q' next to it, that will be the only time I'm in.

"Ever since the format changed people have said that 24 is the magic number but when I've got that little q I'll know I'm through.

"I haven't really been watching how Rob has been playing. He's been picked because of his form."

Tonight's second quarter-final sees Rob Cross take on Luke Littler, who started the night top of the standings.

"Voltage" Cross is in a poor run of form, losing in the quarter-finals in each of the previous four weeks.

Littler on the other hand is the Premier League's form player, winning each of the past two weeks to climb up the table.

The two have faced each other twice so far in this year's Premier League, with one win apiece.

VoiceOfTheMysterons: Peter Wright's Premier League campaign in a nutshell. At 4-1 up, absolutely his to lose. And he lost...

  8. A familiar tale for both menpublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 11 April

    Result: Wright 4-6 Humphries

That match summed up perfectly the fortunes of both men in the Premier League, and with just where their respective games are at right now.

Humphries has struggled in recent weeks, but showed why he will almost certainly be at the play-offs next month and that win moves him top of the league, for now at least.

A bit like his defeat by Gerwyn Price last week, there were times when Peter Wright looked back at his best, especially with his 130 checkout.

Both men averaged similarly scoring wise, but Wright's checkout percentage of 30.8% fell short of Humphries' 37.5% proved to be the difference-maker.

Peter Wright will be very frustrated at letting this match go fall from his grasp. At 4-1, there only ever looked like one winner.

Left on 92, after Wright is unable to finish on 120, Humphries finds treble 20 and takes his second chance on double 16 to take the match 6-4.

A massive turnaround for Humphries who looked poor by his own standards in the first half of that match. Excellent courage shown by the world champion.

Luke Humphries is arguably the most resilient player in the world.

  11. Humphries turns it aroundpublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 11 April

    Wright 4-5 Humphries

    Gripping darts.

Wright, back on his throw, has three darts at tops to go 5-4 up, but misses all three.

Humphries is also left on 40, finds the singles on 20 and 10, but does enough to put his third dart in double five.

A proper fightback from Cool Hand.

  13. Almost a nine-darter as Humphries levelspublished at 19:36 British Summer Time 11 April

    Wright 4-4 Humphries

This is why Luke Humphries is the best in the world right now.

He throws seven perfect darts to leave the nine-darter on, but misses the eighth treble and then misses two darts at double 16.

Wright, with his first maximum of the match, gives himself the chance to shock, but does not take it.

Humphries needs three more darts at double 16 and with the third, does just enough to win the leg.

From 4-1 down, it is 4-4.

  14. Humphries breaks throwpublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 11 April

    Wright 4-3 Humphries

Quite a bit of disruption for Peter Wright as he makes an alteration to his darts at the start of this seventh leg.

Shortly after the change, Humphires finds the first maximum of the match.

Left on 52, Humphries goes back-to-back. A single 20 and a double 16 and all of a sudden, Luke Humphries is only one leg behind.

  15. Humphries battles backpublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 11 April

    Wright 4-2 Humphries

Better from Luke Humphries as Wright has a bit of an off leg.

He almost recreated the 125 finish we recently saw from Luke Littler, going bull, 25 and aiming for a second bull, but his dart on 25 quite severely blocked him.

With time on his side, Humphries did take out 42 on his next visit, a 10 and double 16 to win his second leg of this match.

It has been all Peter Wright since he equalised. He's got a real cushion now.

We shouldn't forget that Luke Humphries is playing in this event for the first time too. He's juggling a lot having played in practically every event since winning the World Championship final.

  17. Wright takes out 130 to lead 4-1published at 19:30 British Summer Time 11 April

    Wright 4-1 Humphries

Luke Humphries mentioned he felt a bit fatigued going into this match and perhaps, that is starting to come through.

Left on 130, Wright finds treble 20, 20 and then lands the bull in near-perfect fashion. Brilliant darts.

Wright is taking his chance here.

  18. Wright breaks againpublished at 19:28 British Summer Time 11 April

    Wright 3-1 Humphries

Peter Wright is really growing in confidence here and is left with 121 to break in the fourth leg.

The first dart is the perfect treble 20, he follows it up with 11 but then is miles off on bull.

Humphries' inability to find a treble opens the door for Wright, who takes out 47 with a seven and then two darts at tops.

Another break and Wright leads 3-1!

    Peter Wright 2-1 Luke Humphries

    Mark Webster
Former BDO world champion on Sky Sports

There's a bit of bounce in Peter Wright here. He's playing well. His rhythm looks good as well.

  20. Wright holds his throwpublished at 19:26 British Summer Time 11 April

    Wright 2-1 Humphries

    Really good from Peter Wright.

He finds 140 in two of his first three visits to set himself up with a 140 finish.

Wright finds treble 20 and went for tops, tops, but missed both and left himself 60.

Wright misses two darts at tops but Humphries' poor finishing keeps Wright in it, who eventually checks out on 40 to go 2-1 up.
