Four Valletta players are due to arrive in the UK on Wednesday evening after securing visas ahead of their Europa League tie against Newtown

The Maltese club experienced a delay in completing visa applications for their non-European Union players.

Club president Victor Sciriha said the players had now secured UK visas through the British embassy in Paris.

Valletta face Newtown in the first qualifying first round first leg on Thursday at Latham Park.

Tunisian midfielder Abdelkarim Nafti, forward Umeh Calictus from Nigeria, striker Thierry Tazemeta from Equatorial Guinea and Moldovan defender Maxim Focsa were the players affected.
