Aaron Williams' effort was headed off the line by Darlington but from the resultant corner Oswell's header restored the home side's lead. Flint scored his second from the penalty spot after Jolyon Harries handled in the area to level the score with 13 minutes remaining.
Flint was denied a hat-trick when he struck the post before substitute Cuba Clyne's header sealed victory for Aber and sealed Newtown's fate.
