    On-loan Nottingham Forest defender Aaron Donnelly also returns, meaning Malachi Boateng and Josh Mulligan drop to the bench.

    Just the one change for St Mirren. Greg Kiltie was doubtful pre-match and drops to the bench. He's replaced up front by Toyosi Olusanya.

    Aberdeen are without caretaker boss Peter Leven following his rush to hospital, but captain Graeme Shinnie returns from suspension and makes it on to the bench.

    Craig Levein makes three changes to the St Johnstone side that were beaten 3-1 by Hibs last weekend.

    Striker Adama Sidibeh and midfielder Fran Franczak drop to the bench, while left-back Luke Robinson is out of the squad.

    Hibs make three changes from last Saturday's victory over St Johnstone. Club captain Paul Hanlon and striker Dylan Vente, who both netted off the bench versus the Saints, both start.

    Scotland's second tier concluded its final round of regular fixtures last night.

    Dundee United had already clinched the title and promotion before thumping Partick Thistle, who are in the Premiership play-offs along with Raith Rovers and Airdrieonians.

    At the bottom, Inverness Caledonian Thistle face a play-off to stay in the Championship despite beating Greenock Morton and will take on Montrose in their semi-final. Arbroath were long since relegated.

    The big news ahead of kick-off at Pittodrie this morning was that Aberdeen interim head coach Peter Leven will be absent for St Johnstone's visit after undergoing an "emergency procedure".

    A brief club statement said the 40-year-old had been admitted to hospital on Friday evening.

    Coach Scott Anderson takes charge of the team, with assistance from fellow coaches Craig Samson, Jonny Hayes and Stuart Duff.
