    "Rangers is the right move for me at this point in my career," says Nedim Bajrami as the midfielder joins the club on a long-term deal.

    The 25-year-old signs from Italian club Sassuolo and he is "delighted to join a club the size of Rangers".

    "They are a club which is known throughout the world, who have won a lot of trophies and competed in a European final in recent years," he told club media.

    "I have had some good conversations with the manager and I believe Rangers is the right move for me at this point in my career.

    "I look forward to meeting all of my new team-mates and fans in the near future."

    Manager Philippe Clement says the Albanian international is a player he has "kept a close eye on for a period of time".

    “Many of our supporters will have watched in the European Championships, as well as playing in Serie A last season.

    “Nedim is a good age, but someone who also has experience of playing in big games and we are glad he has decided Rangers are the right club for him at this point in his career.”

    Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has spoken to club media about McCowan's arrival.

    "We are really happy to welcome Luke to Celtic," he said.

    "He is a player with great ability, energy and commitment and we are sure he will be a very positive addition to our squad."

    Celtic have completed the signing of Dundee midfielder Luke McCowan on a three-year deal.

    The 26-year-old was the Dark Blues' player of the year and players' player of the year and has been captain this season in the absence of Joe Shaughnessy.

    It's an undisclosed fee for the in-demand man who also had interest from Hibernian.

    Tomoki Iwata has left Celtic for Birmingham City on a permanent transfer, joining Rangers' Scott Wright who signed for former Parkhead assistant manager Chris Davies' side earlier today.

    The Japan international has failed to secure a consistent role in the first team at Parkhead.

    Iwata also joins Scotland international striker Lydon Dykes who completed a move to St Andrew's this week from Queens Park Rangers.

    Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin has been speaking to club media about their new signing Sam Dalby.

    “Sam will bring a real physical presence to our frontline - a threat attacking crosses, running in behind and bringing his teammates into play," he said.

    “He has an encouraging pedigree, having spent time with clubs such as Arsenal, Leeds United and Watford, and has also proven he has a winning mentality as an integral part of Wrexham’s recent success.

    “His arrival gives me a wealth of exciting, versatile attacking options and combinations to experiment with throughout the season, and adds to the competition for places which helps drive standards throughout the wider group."

    Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has praised new signing Arne Engels' ability to play in "a number of positions" as he arrives at Celtic Park.

    “We are delighted to bring Arne to Celtic," Rodgers told club media.

    "He is an exciting young player of real quality who has already made his mark at a really high level in the Bundesliga.

    "He has a wide range of attributes which will allow him to play a number of positions in midfield, so we feel he is an excellent acquisition for the club. I think Arne’s style of play, his energy and his technical ability really will suit our game model.

    "While Celtic will always be our priority, it is fantastic too that Arne is now receiving full international recognition within a top Belgian squad, something he is very deserving of."
