  1. Aberdeen announce... they're done for the daypublished at 18:22 British Summer Time 30 August

Not in the mood for a late one, or for any speculation, the lights are off in auld Aberdeen.

One last piece of business, in a club statement the Dons announced the departure of defender Jayden Richardson after 24 appearances.

“In terms of deadline day, the process of adding any new recruits has ended," Jimmy Thelin states.

“It is important to maintain calm and focus and only add players who can enhance our current squad and build long term value for Aberdeen.

"Overall, we are satisfied with the business we have done over this summer."

So, no more news to come for Aberdeen fans, but do feel free to stick with us for - hopefully - plenty more transfer news from around the country.

  3. Jair makes the Scottish Premiership switchpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 30 August

Motherwell have confirmed the season-long loan signing of Portuguese winger Jair Tavares from Hibs.

The 23-year-old joined the Easter Road club for an undisclosed fee two years from Benfica 'B', but has struggled for regular action, making 17 starts.

Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell said: "Signing Jair is an excellent piece of business."

"This loan gives Jair an opportunity to gain regular game time, which will benefit him at this stage of his career," said Hibs head coach David Gray.
