    West Ham 0-1 Burnley

West Ham almost find an immediate response and Callum Wilson links up well with Jarrod Bowen but the winger's shot falls just wide.

They win a corner and Max Kilman's header almost finds a way through but is eventually blocked.

We've been waiting for someone to make a chance.

Zian Flemming totally unmarked there and it is the oldest of old school headers.

Head it with power back towards where it is coming from and keep it low.

Thierno Barry could have had a hat-trick in the opening 35 minutes.

Instead the French striker is still searching for his first goal in an Everton shirt.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:35 GMT

    Everton 0-0 Fulham

Thierno Barry has the ball in the back of the Fulham net but it's immediately ruled out by an offside flag. That came after a move which started with a long throw-out by Jordan Pickford.

Well there's not been much to shout about in this match but if anyone was going to find the net it was the visitors.

A lovely bending cross from Lesley Ugochukwu is on a plate for Zian Flemming to head home.

A good finish but all a bit easy for Burnley.

There's a quick VAR check for offside but the goal is given.

Yet to see a shot on target in this one.

Lucas Paqueta tries to play a little one-two in the box but it doesn't come off.

Pinball inside the Fulham box. Everton are knocking on the door. Five attempts by the home side but just one on target.

Neil: Can we please stop with the "the fans hounded Moyes out." We were diabolical the last season and a half under Moyes - the football was dull & we only just avoided relegation both seasons!

Don't want to add fuel to the fire here but only just avoiding relegation seems a bit harsh, 14th in 2022-23 - plus a European trophy - then ninth in 2023-24.

Everton are probably looking the more likely team [to score]. We haven't seen much goalmouth action, but they are looking the more dangerous team.

That Everton free-kick came to nothing.

This game is crying out for a goal.

Get Wayne Rooney out of the stand and onto the pitch!

Lucas Paqueta follows through, absolutely nonsensical and now you lose him for the next game [suspended after picking up five yellow cards].

Not that impressive from Paqueta. We know he's got his qualities but there's negatives in there as well.

    Ouch!

Jack Grealish is taken out from behind by Joachim Andersen just outside the Fulham box.

This is a good opportunity for Everton.

    West Ham 0-0 Burnley

Lucas Paqueta goes into the book for a foul on Florentino before Lesley Ugochukwu sees his shot blocked and Burnley win a corner.

It's headed away at the near post. Needs a spark, this game.

Is Jack Grealish resigned to spending next summer at home after being left out of Thomas Tuchel's latest England squad?

Not too much from the winger so far...

It's crying out for a goal but also opportunities.

I keep on watching Callum Wilson and you know if you give him chances, he is going to score. They're just not giving him enough chances so far.

A first attempt by Fulham and it comes from the head of former Everton man Alex Iwobi. It's a comfortable save by Jordan Pickford.

Louis: Paul doesn't know what he's on about. It's nothing to do with on the pitch, it's everything else! The owners are useless and need to go.

Crysencio Summerville slips over and Burnley are awarded a free-kick as it appeared to touch the forward's hand.

It's not been a thriller, this.

We had a feeling the game would go this way before kick-off because the two teams have had slow starts to the season. It needs an early goal.

Jordan Pickford has had very little to do. The Everton keeper is off to link up with England after this. He could be facing Fulham's Sasa Lukic next Thursday when England host Serbia in a World Cup qualifier at Wembley.
