It has taken north of 70 minutes for Aston Villa to register their second shot of the match, but Ebony Salmon does fire an audacious volley at goal, having flicked the ball up herself on the edge of the penalty area.

It has taken them long enough, but Villa are now, with only a couple of minutes to go, are trying to be more direct, although it is yet to come to anything of note.

Unsurprisingly, Lauren Hemp, who has spent the last few minutes dancing around Villa players on the ball with the ease, has just been named as the Player of the Match on BBC Two.

With Olivia Smith in the Liverpool side, the Crystal Palace backline will have to be on their toes. The Canadian has pace, can beat a player on either side and has a habit, so far, of starting very quickly.

Kenza Dali is a player I love watching. She's such a technical, gifted player, she picks up those pockets really well.

I'm surprised she hasn't been in the starting lineup for Villa whether it's a knock or a decision by the manager that it doesn't fit their style right now, other players that are better.

She's a player I'm excited to see on the pitch.

As per Opta, Aston Villa have gone over an hour now in this match since last registering a shot.
